I’m about 42 days clean from smoking. 30 year smoker. This new prescription stuff in Louisiana is crazy. The apothecary shop in Lafayette has to be the busiest business in town. I’m mixed on whether just anyone should be able to smoke it. If it was the old stuff we used to get no biggie but I think this new stuff might be a little much for some. I feel like the vapes thc and nicotine are what people are going to look back on in10 years and regret that they didn’t stick with flower or gummies. To each his own. I’ll dabble with it again, my problem is once I start I can’t stop. We’re all different but I know for me personally, weed is highly addictive and I’m a low performer on it. My best friend can smoke and not be addicted and remain a high performer but had to quit drinking because he’s an alcoholic. I can drink here and there and be fine. We laugh that our addictions are the exact opposite of each others. Smoke em if you got em, drink em if you got em. Life’s short. F it

I’m coming from Denver and also looking for a tailgate (4 people). I saw on the Nashville Exes Page that the Austin chapter may be hosting a tailgate? But I haven’t found anything on the official site so I’m not sure!

It is but that's actually an argument as to why the 12 team cfp is better as its currently constructed than if we go to 24. Oregon is playing a de facto elimination game Saturday vs USC because there's no way that team wins in the Shoe later in the year. That sense of urgency dies off if they increase to 24.

Cirrhosis is from extreme alcohol abuse over an extended period of time. Not short-term use, which was my point. Casual use of marijuana, not just abusive use, has been shown to have long-term effects on the brain and still-unknown psychological effects. Alcohol is metabolized in an hour. There is a difference.

I don't care if you smoke weed, but I don't want to smell your weed. Do I drink alcohol? Yes. I like a cold beer, but that doesn't affect you or others in anyway. But, the smell of your weed makes an impact on everyone.

Can we talk about the Q Collar now?

I gather smoke some weed than drink alcohol. Weed relaxes me and doesn’t cause a hangover.

Yep. Posted above. He's off on that ... right now. Texas may have the ability to do that down the line ... against a Florida. Or certain matchup, but it's still a dice roll There are issues with that lineup. Spacing and perimeter ability would be rough. Matas would have about zero room to work lane to lane in that lineup. Texas has to space the floor to maximize Matas when he's in the game

Right now ... starting 5 is Johnson, Mikey, Freeman, Punch and Matas But ... Goosby will compete with Mikey now that he's back on the floor, and Evans is giving Freeman a run. Depth is the strength of this team

That may happen at some point during the season, but not right now. That starting five would lack perimeter play and floor spacing.

We simply disagree. We have to stop giving ourselves credit for issues we cause. We were objectively awful by any measure. The UTSA game pretty much proved my point. If we were mentally tough, we beat osu by double digits and last week would have gotten to the 2nd string much faster. Reports said the field was between 130-160. OSU articulated post the game that they wore down. Check this out if you haven’t: OTF 2nd watch btw, you ask folks to not argue but imply that one needs to have played high level sports to have an educated opinion. Just feedback for you. 🤘🏽

This breakdown was elite. Looking at this tells you how good of a coach Sean Miller is. He got every bit that he could out of a team with a lot of holes. This roster brings better shooting and more guys capable of getting their own shot, while continuing to stay in the flow of an offensive set. Over the last 2 years, too many times guys had to force offense. I can see this team having no problems scoring 75-80 a game.

If someone drinks alcohol then they are the only one’s effected? Why don’t you tell that to someone who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver you moron!

I hope he's right by the time March rolls around, but no way Texas should be above Florida and Duke to begin the season. I could make an argument they could be ahead of Illinois and even UConn, though. Top 7 sounds about right for Texas.
