That all lines up with how TickPick operates. Their buyer protections are pretty strong, and the fact the seller doesn’t get paid until after the transfer and the event gives you a ton of leverage. The penalties for listing seats you don’t actually own are steep, so the system really pushes sellers to deliver exactly what they advertised. And yeah, last‑minute ticket hunting can get dicey, but with how their no‑fee setup works and how quickly transfers happen once UT loads everything, you’re in a solid spot. Sounds like you’ve got everything you need to book the rest of the trip without stressing over the tickets. Hope you have an awesome trip - sounds like it’s shaping up to be a good one.

It is a QR code that you scan upon entry now. We have 13 season tickets so we have to sell some every once in awhile. You’ll be ok. I believe it is done like that so that you can’t go flip it to make money like a scalper.

Also learned today that the seller of the seats does not get paid until the tickets are transferred and the event has ended. I feel 100% better now. If the seller does not actually own the seats they are given a hefty penalty from Tickpick and I am reimbursed with tickets equally comparable or better...or a complete refund. Finding tickets the day before is probably challenging but im definitely going to move forward booking the rest of my trip. Hookem

I hope he has a larger role than that, but the room is just so loaded. I'm looking forward to watching what we do with the rotation, when guys like Lockett and McCutcheon are our fifth and sixth WRs.

Impossible to predict. Just too many moving parts. Even just in 2027, our starter could be Manning, Lacey, Bell, or a portal guy (least likely, imo).
-
TickPick is solid - use them quite a bit. The reason they show a late delivery date isn’t because the seller is sketchy - it’s because Texas doesn’t actually release the tickets to season ticket holders until late July or early August. Once UT loads the tickets into everyone’s accounts, most sellers transfer them pretty quickly. That 9/11 date is just the ‘latest possible’ window TickPick uses so they don’t over‑promise. And yeah --- one of the big reasons people use TickPick is the no‑fee pricing. What you see is what you pay, which is why their listings sometimes look better than StubHub or SeatGeek. If you bought with a credit card, you’re protected either way, but realistically you’ll have your tickets well before your trip.

I’ll have some takeaways this afternoon after the drive home -
Arch returning next year as nothing to do with Laurence, who won't be on campus until Arch's egilibility runs out. I do think if Arch does return, Lacy hits the portal.

Let those hands fly homie -
If Texas handles business like they should in half of these games on the schedule, get guys like this some PT. That’s how confidence builds & gaining experience.

What time is Montre Jackson supposed to announce today? -
I love the Colt story as much as anyone - it’s one of the best parts of Texas history. And honestly, that’s what makes this QB room fun. Every guy in it has a real path, and Sark’s track record says someone unexpected usually takes a big jump. If Arch does stay in 2027, it just gives Lacy, Bell, Knutson, and Laurence more time to develop the right way. Whoever rises out of that group is going to be a legit starter, not a placeholder. It’s a good problem to have again.

I remember back when another QB recruit that few were talking about came to the 40 and outshined all the more shiny recruits - Colt McCoy. Would love to see that happen again.

That’s fair it’s just weird that Tennessee fans think Peyton would root against Arch -
Believe that was Cam Coleman.
-
We shouldn't even need to go to the portal on the OL with Turntine, Nic Robertson and the Coleman twins added to Swanson and (hopefully) Camara.
-
Knutson and he is gonna surprise some people. i watch every game and kid throws an accurate ball and can put it out there

With the “Manning might come back for 2027” comments and the line up behind him, makes you wonder which QBs we will see start between 2027 to 2030 range. Lacy—Bell—Knudsen—Laurence What a great situation to ponder.
