Love the write up, like usual Jeff. My problem is, I'll believe it when I see it.

I like Kiffin as an offensive mind but boy does he create drama everywhere he goes. The guy loves drama. It's like he hasn't learned a thing in his career full of constant flops at blue bloods. Match that with the bs that goes on with LSU, you got yourselves one hell of a sh*t show. I doubt they'll kick LSU out of the conference but they should 100% be severely punished.

Even if LSU gets court relief now, it is a hell of a gamble to play them. Risk vs Reward over 2 players really? They are gambling another Court won't overturn all this eventually. Sark simply has to field an offense that can flat out move the ball. Sark is the OC/HC and in all the years he has been at Texas, he hasn't had the offenses we thought we'd get with an offensive genius reputation. To me, the presssure is more on Sark than Arch.

I get what you’re trying to say, but the “zero rushing yards = good outcome” thing doesn’t really hold up. Zero rushing yards usually means the QB didn’t scramble, didn’t extend plays, and probably took a couple sacks instead of escaping. That’s not a win for the offense. Arch avoiding unnecessary hits? Sure. Arch becoming a statue? That’s not how Sark coaches quarterbacks. Scrambling is literally one of the best ways to avoid hits - you’re choosing the angle, not standing still waiting for a 260‑lb dude to tee off on you. And check‑downs aren’t some magic solution; they’re the emergency exit when the first two reads aren’t there. If Arch has to check down all night instead of extending plays, that’s actually a sign the offense isn’t functioning. And the funny part is you praise Brad Jackson for stressing defenses with his legs… then turn around and say Texas is better off if Arch never uses his. Why would mobility be a weapon for them but a liability for us? A couple scrambles and a keeper or two are exactly how you keep the offense on schedule, avoid sacks, and make our game with Texas State or OSU prepare for more than just drop‑back passing. For the life of me, I can’t understand why Kiffin / LSU are willing to die on this hill? The players in question are good (Dewuan Wright will be a back-up to Treydez Greene, Harris probably starts at DT, and Pyburn would be DE3), but none of them are difference makers and collectively they aren’t going to change LSU’s season-end record. I just don’t get the brinksmanship by LSU here. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze. That said, I have zero doubt a Baton Rouge yokel judge who has to face local voters would be willing to contort the law to create a ruling favorable to LSU. I almost hope this happens just so we can get to the really juicy phase of this little drama - the reaction and wrath of the other 15 SEC schools.

Hopefully Arch tell Sark to trash that awful throwback screen that he ran every game and that fooled no one by week 3.

Same play call as last year against Ohio State, except Arch doesn't throw a carpet missle and it becomes an explosive play to either Coleman or Wingo.

Given Sarkisian's stance, if the SEC said no to Hutson, Texas would have removed him from the roster already. He never entered the draft as an underclassmen, signed a NFL contract, or competing on a NFL roster. He also, never left school and isn't transfering from another conference school.

For me, this season is about penalties. Sarkisian's teams have gotten worse every year, that needs to change to make a run into and through the CFPs. I think going from #132 down into the top 50s would mean Texas is handling the flags giving their uber-talented squad more chances to make game-changing plays and burying teams.
