Like Sark, Elliott is stuck in his ways and is willing to go down with the ship as long as they win or lose that way. -
Make sure and go to KSR after the first basketball loss this season.

Reading other forums like texags and tigerdroppings and seeing the doom and gloom there is a nice way to make yourself feel better about the loss. It worked for me anyway.

IF arch returns for his senior year (if he’s smart he should) i really hope sark can drop his pride and hire a coordinator, But i doubt he will. -
Mack is the last person I’d ask advice from.

Agree it takes marbles but also not sure what the point is in asking it fresh post game. Not going to get anything.

Feels like something going on , just too much talent to be so mediocre. We know due to trophies it is not the coaching ability. Ability being the key word. -

Gerry Hamilton replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Ball should never have been thrown. A QB is never taught to throw the ball going right off balance under duress and late down the field from the hash marks to middle of the field. NEVER. Nothing else matters. It's situational awareness, innate feel for the position. The problem with Arch is he's not progressing. His eyes aren't progressing as a QB right now. For his future, they have to start progressing. Then it comes down to pure feel and instincts for the QB position. That will have to be proven out. -

I agree with just about everything Gerry said in this article! I want to give Sark some truth serum to see if he truly believes that Arch is the best chance we have at winning any game. If Arch continues to turn it over...yet we win due to an amazing showing from our defense...can Sark honestly tell me a KJ Lacey or Dia Bell do not deserve a shot at starting QB? (Look at all of the ncaa teams who are thriving with Young QBs) If we got to a situation where we had 3 losses, do you bench Manning then to focus on the future? When exactly do you pull the plug on Arch? I think we have an amazing offense outside of this handicapped QB who misses reads and holds the ball too long and panics when he is blizzed. Arch is in year 4. He plays like a freshman...a talented freshman....but as a redshirt Junior, I think he is extremely mid- tier and lacking the confidence of a Colt McCoy or VY. I dont see him as a championship caliber QB. He isnt awful, he just isnt at an elite enough level to win a natty. Thats how I feel after watching him start 20 games. What do we do if he keeps struggling? Sark? What do you guys think he would say if he was given a truth serum? He gets to see Lacey and Bell at practice everyday...we don't...is Arch truly our best QB? Or is he just playing because his name is Manning? I think most of us know it is because his name is Manning...and now to state the obvious..his NIL deals are probably helping his cause to stay at starter. I want a championship!...Nick Saban benched Jalen Hurts at halftime to play Tua and that decision won him a natty. Does Sark have balls to make a move like that before we are out of the CFP race? Sorry for the long rant but man, im just extremely disappointed in Arch thru 20 games. Like Gerry said...call a spade a spade. Arch aint it. - Today

Sometimes I wonder if Sark’s obsession with big plays is rubbing off on Arch. Neither seems particularly interested in just moving the chains. -

@Gerry Hamilton The pick 6 play, Cam Coleman was open, it was just terrible mechanics for him not to get his body in position to deliver an accurate throw. So because of poor mechanics he sailed the ball high. Go back to the touchdown throw in the first quarter. Arch moves up in the pocket and has green grass in front of him. He has a chunk play if he just runs the ball, but he sees Cam Coleman has won on his route. So what does Arch do? He gets his body ready to make the throw, and then delivers a beautiful throw. It was about mechanics and delivering. The last interception he has to put that one outside on the sideline. -

I think Sark may be coaching Arch toward the quarterback he wants him to become instead of calling the offense around the quarterback Arch is right now. Sounds like the most treasonable explanation. -

You need a different hobby, m8. You’ve lost the point of this one. If you’re miserable watching football to the point that you rooting against your team - you get that’s not the point of this, right? -

Y’all ungrateful. I served y’all some of the finest burnt orange kool aid, and y’all want to lay up on here and be miserable. I’m a pray for y’all. It’s just me and @Bobby Burtonon this bandwagon. I’m 10 toes down in this. Just play ball. -
...two sacks against the Niners already.

I'm just as disappointed about yesterday as anyone on here, but we weren't the only team that lost. The aggies and the fighting Lane Kiffins lost in horrible ways too. If they don't get it fixed starting next week, then I'll lead the pitchfork parade. -

The sark and arch experience has run its course. Arch clearly needs a 5th year, but it shouldn’t be at Texas. -

I wish it was a matter of being in a funk. Unfortunately this offense is a dumpster fire filled with money. I do think Cooper is a bright spot, but he gets the job done so Sark will bench him. But I do like your can do attitude CJ. Mine at the moment is more like…🤮 -
