  1. Past hour
  2. 5 to play 5. I was on varsity golf team for one semester as a freshman at college in Colorado and after my long circuitous route to UT, I was unable to even walk on to try and make team since my eligibility would run out at the end of that year. I had to settle for winning the intramural golf tournament. Big whoop!
  3. I think people need to understand that this is going to happen every year now. Some of these freshman coming in won’t be here in a couple of years. Some will. It’s just the way it is now. Vic is going to bring in portal players so his team stays up towards the top in the country. Some are going to want and think they should get more playing time, some are going to want more money, some aren’t going to be able to take hard coaching and some are going to be homesick. It’s a 365 day a year job nowadays. The new college athletics.
  4. Feels like a downgrade from Lee, tbh.
  5. Who exactly is "we?" You and your cat??? 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  6. Are you thinking like 1pm or so? Might drive over from Houston for the day
  7. No I am not, but in the new NIL world we're currently in nothing surprises me. I'm not saying I'm glad they left because I'm not, but we have no control in what players decide to do. You're either with us or against us. 🤘🤘🤘
  8. All that and from Edmond Oklahoma and she transfers to Texas 😃😃. Times they have changed for sure.
  9. Is she beating out Tessa Johnson? No. She's not a point guard. She will get minutes but not starter minutes.
  10. Experience and damn good defense won’t ride on the bench for a DS coached team.
  11. So you don’t keep up with South Carolina’s roster or their incoming freshmen class? She’s definitely splitting time.
  12. Good call Ma'am. Please don't take offense it's just how I was raised.
  13. Jordan isn’t riding the bench anywhere she plays including SC!
  14. Older sister Skylar played at OU and was Big 12 Co-POY with Booker in 2024. Father Bryatt played at OU under Billy Tubbs in 1992-93.
  15. Texas women's basketball had added Oklahoma transfer guard Zya Vann on Friday morning, OTF has learned. The junior guard from Edmond, Okla. is the first pledge for Vic Schaefer and the Texas women in the transfer portal window. Vann averaged 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in 2025. The Longhorns are looking to build out their 2026-27 roster after a handful of portal exits, including Jordan Lee (South Carolina), Aaliyah Crump (Duke), and Justice Carlton (TBD). Texas is bringing in three McDonald's All-Americans in forwards Addison Bjorn and Bri Crittendon and guard Lizzy Spaight. UT is also bringing in an ESPN five-star forward Isi Etute and four-star guard Amalia Holguin.
  16. Today
  17. It’s been reported on several Texas sites Texas offered her an increase in NIL to stay and she said no.
  18. No one says they can’t. But they’ll be going against veteran teams that are only getting better via portal: SC, LSU, Vanderbilt, even Kentucky. And nationally, USC will be a force and if people are keeping up with the portal, Big 10 teams are stacking up. There’s also a huge difference in one freshman making a difference versus five. This isn’t MBB. If Texas WBB wants to win a National Championship, they are not doing it with Freshmen, imo.
