  1. Past hour
  2. In my opinion they are bs. And when you don’t do it in a line, they aren’t lineups, are they? They seek out other players, often friends and former teammates, and wish them well, just like they do in college.
  3. That was the worst officiated game of the year to this point. The reversal of the Auburn scoop and score was inexplicable. Guy clearly had possession before the fumble. The later ruling of a catch inside the five that set up a TD for the criminals was egregious too. Receiver clearly didn't have possession in bounds. That's 21 total points!
  4. Good stuff Jeff. Awesome way to finish non-conf play, going into the bye with lots of positive momentum. Excited for Arch and the receivers who looked much more in rhythm.
  5. No, a general statement about our collective weakness. I was just using football as an example.
  6. So, nothing to do with the team or staff. Gotcha.
  7. What I mean is there are problems we all have that we aren’t always willing to acknowledge are there. Plenty of times humanity is either blind to or dismissive of our own flaws.
  8. Do you feel there are those who are unwilling?
  9. The line ups are not bs. They are intentionally set to show sportsmanship. The Pro’s do it, just not in a line. Basketball players do it. it is a part of life. Be a man and deal with it. Now, if bad things were said by the other team, let that come out as well. it is a bad look either way.
  10. Be forewarned that you drive on the left side of the road in a right hand drive car there. Takes a bit to get used to it. We had an automatic but it would have been really frustrating to have gotten a stick and having to shift with my left hand. on top of that. Also, the country roads are often really only one lane with occasional small pullouts to let oncoming traffic through. Lots of traffic circles/roundabouts there too and that takes a bit getting use to. We did not use a car in Edinburgh, but did when we took of the highlands and the islands. There are some really nice scenic drives in Scotland. We drove the length of Loch Ness on the way to Inverness and were not lucky enough to see Nessie. 😀
  11. Drafted him on my fantasy team. What he was able to do on those cal teams was impressive. Figured he’d take off once in a better system
  12. If I was a long suffering Indiana basketball fan, absolutely!
  13. Today
  14. If Indiana beats Iowa in Kinnick, they will probably make the CFP as long as they take care of business in their games not named Oregon and Penn State. Even against Oregon and Penn State, they must keep it close for the committee to put them in at 10-2. Cignetti is a hell of a coach and is IU football’s version of Bob Knight. I can’t believe I thought IU made a mistake in letting Tom Allen go. This is why I could never be an athletic director lol
  15. I think Wisner will be a great addition when healthy, he adds a hard running style that we need. It was good to see other RB get much needed work heading into SEC schedule.
  16. Do you think Robertson to C permanently and Hutson back to LG would help? Robertson seems to play the C spot way more naturally than Hutson does.
  17. Would you classify his performance last night as borderline erotic?
  18. The Cal transfer now at Indiana impressed last year in some late night games. At Indiana this season, he's playing on a total other level Vs. Illinois yesterday: 21 of 23 for 267 yards and 5 TD's last week vs. Indiana State (yes bad team): 19 of 20 for 270 yards and 5 TD's I don't care if you are playing against Hemphill High and Hardin High in back-to-back games, 40 of 43 is a wild number over a two game stretch. Through four games: 76 of 99 for 975 yards and 14 TD's with 0 INT's Indiana is a better team this season, but doesn't mean they will make playoffs. At Oregon and at Penn State loom ... so they have to avoid an upset around those two.
  19. In short yardage give it to the true freshman. He's one of those that finds the crease.
  20. You hope to see these kids maximize their ability. For Cook, he had to hit rock bottom for him and his circle to wake up to the changes Johntay had to make to be successful.
  21. It was those two drives that ended in FGs. Complete failure by Sark.
  22. Let me add to the D. Moore chorus. He creates instant impact at every level of pass receiving. He blocks, he runs routes, he is fast, he is tough, AND HE CAN CATCH A BAD PASS. On defense, I caught the communication among Hill, T. Moore, and Simmons when they were playing together. It was among the games within the game that looked like late season form for the first time. I also saw three safeties on the field at once: Taaffe, Jelani, and D. Williams. I did not catch the defense they had been in; for example, were there two CBs and one of the safeties playing in the box? That defensive penalties were cleaned up is half that battle, anyway. Sorry we did not see Jonah as a punt returner. If Arch gets dinged, Caldwell does look like more than a safety blanket. He is a pleasant surprise. Against a cupcake team he looked like OU's Heisman hopeful transfer.
