If Alabama hangs on in Baton Rouge, the Tide will be in with a likely 10-2 record. Alabama finishes with Vanderbilt, Chattanooga and Auburn.

Austin Simmons vs Arch
Thank you Jesse Palmer. You are comparing apples and oranges. Simmons has 2 options on each play. If 1 is dead, then go to 2.......if 2 is dead, your time is up. Our offense is a pro-style, go through the progressions. Who do you think teams want to face in the 4th quarter? Simmons or Manning? Hint; it isnt Texas.

I'll be honest, I haven't started looking at tie breakers.

Sark has found a formula that's working. Arch isn't perfect, but he's getting better.

They've scored 30 points in every game since @CJ Vogel buried the 50 burger hat.

I didn't like it. I wanted to see Sark lean on it. I was losing my mind. Thankfully, he got Raleek Brown the ball in crunch time. Better late than never, I guess.

I think we could be getting right at the right time, which is so exciting

The talk of toughness holds more weight when everyone sees you break an opponent's will in the fourth quarter.

Muschamp Broyles Award
I think Texas's D is the best individual unit in the country. Both sides of the ball.

Austin Simmons vs Arch
Simmons definitely was in rhythm early. We finally started getting to him in the second half.

Love the new site layout! One small thing that I've noticed on mobile is that when I hit back, it doesn't go back to the previous page no matter how many times I hit the button. Minor inconvenience, but just wanted to let yall know about the bug. Using an iPhone in case that makes a difference on Safari.

Who to Cheer For? (Saturday 11/7)
Tech probably wins that but has a loss to Oklahoma St next week written all over it.

Snap Judgments: No. 7 Texas finishes strong, puts away No. 18 Missouri
This has been the closest game we've seen of complementary football from all three phases.

Who to Cheer For? (Saturday 11/7)
I think Miami winning is the biggest outcome for us. Bama/LSU I can see all three of us in, but best case LSU wins.

MIAMI!! And we need Tech to lose to WVU. We donโt need the big 12 getting multiple bids in..

Snap Judgments: No. 7 Texas finishes strong, puts away No. 18 Missouri
This win allows us a 2-1 end to the season and still in the playoffs. Tennessee and Missouri could do us a big favor by taking out Kentucky in tonight and in two weeks.

Great read. Good win. The inconsistency with sticking to the run drives me nuts, but it is what it is at this point. Manningโs decision making was better today which is a welcome development. It was good to see the RBโs involved in the passing game too. Letโs kick some LSU ass next week. Hook em! ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ

4 ranked wins is great. Only if we had those 2 unranked wins.
