  1. Past hour
  2. TV ratings came out today for last weekend's games. Fever -v- Sky on Saturday peaked at 3.1m viewers and reflects the most watched regular season game in WNBA regular season in 25 years. That's crazy. https://www.espn.com/fantasy/womens-basketball/story/_/id/45223472/fantasy-women-basketball-tips-wnba-week-19
  3. At this point my trust in sark & the staff is through the roof so my mentality is roll with us or get rolled over.
  4. Pretty much solidifies our class: Ojo, Turntine, Roseborough, Max, Robertson.
  5. Washington got Kodi Greene too. Jedd Fisch is cooking in the Pacific Northwest. But there’s a change Texas gets Ojo, Turntine, and Roseborough so who knows.

  7. Today
  8. Agree. If CC has a few more 'hard fouls' on other players over the next few weeks, Monica Nutt and the other nuts on ESPN will be out of their mind. Will be interesting to watch unfold as the Fever should be one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the WNBA this season.
  9. If he doesn’t shuffle visits around so Texas gets a wknd visit I think the odds of him ending up at Texas are low.
  10. Cooper will get the full attention of available staff during a mid-week visit. More immersion in the Texas culture is exactly what he needs.
  11. Meet up at the propane tanks outside of town like we used to do in Florence, Texas!
  12. Tough to know until it actually happens. Of course, just getting him back on campus is the objective, but it won't have the same feel as the other official visits for both Texas and Cooper.
  13. If Texas gets a mid week with Cooper do we realistically think he would pick Texas over the visits he is doing the full weekend visit for?
  14. Why was it depressing? I remember watching guys on TV literally knock down the wall with sledge hammers. I remember thinking that it was great that I was watching it as it happened, and I understood its significance because I had studied history from ancient Egypt to present day, read Henry Kissinger's memoirs about trying to win the Cold War, but that was it and I was 16.
  15. I love Edwards. He will be a nightmare for defenses on 3rd down.
  16. Not just that, but with the length of the season being what it is, fatigue certainly comes into play. Outside of qb, I think the days of just having your starters and a couple relief guys ready is over. You need to have a plan in place for players to go in and there be no significant drop off in production.
  17. It's the kind of position that is subject to injuries. Even if it's just a tweak, it's a tough position to make it a whole season with no down time. Gotta take 2.
  18. Someone asked what I was doing in Athens, Georgia in November 1989 if I went to high school in Gilmer, TX. I went there in June 1989 to stay with my best friend. His mom was a professor of Entomology at UGA.
  19. Exactly. They need to settle this like adults.
  20. Drove through Gilmer for the first time in a couple years. Reminded of the Berlin Wall falling on 9 November 1989. I was sixteen in Athens, Georgia when it happened. Graduated from high school close to Gilmer five months before. I remember thinking that day that it was the culmination of two world wars, the cold war and the entire twentieth century. The US was literally about to dominate the world. It was exhilarating and depressing at the same time.
