Exactly. This team can’t run block very well vs good SEC DLs. Arch likes to spread it out, Townsend is a good athlete, and we have plenty of talent at WR. This team is a long shot to win a conference or national championship, so play to your strengths to maximize your season.

Do you think 12 personnel struggling also has to do with WR’s and TE’s struggling to block consistently outside of Townsend and maybe Shannon both of them block violently which is needed.

2019 LSU ran almost exclusively 11 but put Moss out wide . So while technically 11, he didn't do a whole lot of inline blocking

Gerry, how many of those national championship teams had a part time HC, part time oc, part time special teams guy and a part time TE’s coach? I hate to be this guy but maybe we need to change our expectations from winning a championship to just making a playoff would be successful?
