  1. Past hour
  2. How can Texas spend so much and recruit so well and have such mediocre OL play two years in a row? Time for changes.
  3. I was at the Florida game, and let's be honest, the crowd wasn't exactly setting decibel records. The atmosphere definitely felt flat compared to Ohio State and even OU. So McConaughey isn't wrong about that part. What cracks me up is how many people read a letter that basically said, "Show up, be loud, support the team," and responded with: "RIP Sark." "It's never been more over." "Basketball starts soon." "Fire everybody." Criticizing the offense is fair. Criticizing Sark is fair. Criticizing Flood is fair. Lord knows there has been enough bad football lately to go around. But reading some of these posts, you'd think Texas was 3-9, recruiting had collapsed, Arch transferred to LSU at halftime, and Bevo entered the portal after the fourth quarter. The crowd and the team fed off each other. The offense couldn't sustain a drive, and the crowd gradually lost energy. Both things can be true at the same time. What I don't get is the dramatic jump from "the offense has serious issues" to "the Sark era is over." The man goes to back-to-back CFPs and suddenly some folks are conducting a funeral service after a couple bad weeks. Meanwhile McConaughey is sitting on a glacier in Iceland at 1 a.m. watching Texas football on one bar of cell service because he can't miss a game. Half this fan base is ready to transfer to basketball after the second three-and-out. Good grief. 🤘
  4. lol He has to and yes
  5. He’s always been an inaccurate passer … for sure. He’s like Rob Deer of QB’s
  6. Easy answer. Arch is the problem. Sark hasn't changed his offense. It's not like he hired a new OC. I don't know what happened to Arch, but something has.
  7. It's the same offense he's been running now for 4 years. I think he would have already transferred if he couldn't run the offense.
  8. Today
  9. Texas 38 Ole Miss 31
  10. On the good news front, Marcel Reed just threw a pick 6 to Alabama.
  11. I was at last weeks game. After the first two drives it felt like the life was getting sucked out of the place. There was a long lag there until Nibblet ran that punt back. Florida scoring right before half right after the 4th and 2 stop really sucked the life out. Everyone in my section felt like, oh no, here we go again. My wife even said it feels like we’re gonna lose this game.
  12. I just hope both teams have fun 🤠
  13. 20 is about what we do on offense or close to it. Chambliss legs and ability to avoid the rush to hit downfield throws will hurt Texas. Arch will be saddled with too much as our running game will sputter again.
  14. I could see Ole Miss for Arch
  15. Acuffs shoulder is gonna fall off with how much he's been shooting
  16. Finally have a legit program builder. I thought those days were gone. Beyond ready.
  17. Was Arch really THAT good in the 2nd half of 2025? He was still missing throws and making questionable reads, but he had some big plays in there that were enough to get the job done. The argument was that he didn't have enough help, he got help this season, and his level of play hasn't elevated. Same system as last year, but what growth has he shown in it? He was injured in the offseason, but how much time did he spend in the playbook? Where is the ownership of the offense? It's on Sark for choosing him as the starter, but not doing enough to make him serviceable or consistent despite his limitations. It is also on him for retaining Kyle Flood and allowing the OL to continue its descent.
  18. I dont think there is enough storage for all the gaggie jokes.
  19. I bet you are ready for basketball
  20. I honestly think Sark has predetermined that its the "starter's time" until it isn’t. He's given Arch as much grace as he did with Quinn. I don't think Sark wants to bench anyone at the QB position unless he feels he absolutely has to (i.e. Card at Arkansas & Quinn vs Georgia in Austin). Its crazy to think that Casey Thompson probably the QB that's run Sark's offense the smoothest and with the most consistency as any of the QBs during Sark's tenure at Texas.
  21. He’s facing adversity which is something he hasn’t felt in a while. He has unbelievable physical skills though. He will be back.
  22. I think so too. It’s time for the Rockets to carry their weight in the state of Texas in pro hoops. The Spurs and Mavs have done their part this century. Now it’s the Rockets turn.
