  1. Past hour
  2. He was at practice today for first time. Here a week earlier than I expected!
  3. I’d challenge you here, but the narrative has been set in stone. Your last sentence implies that new defensive stuff was implemented. That’s in contrast to a point Will made about the defense being installed leading up to the season. Granted that’s Will, but I’d think most teams are this way. The biggest bust was the long Vandy TD. With backup safeties. That was also the Gruden/Pavia QB school “made the play up on the sideline.” There’s likely some plays that we’re calling “busts” whereas it was more discipline stuff and too much aggression towards the LOS so we get beat. There is a difference. People also ignore the matchups. Any discussion that is overly concerned about DB depth may be falling short of the full picture. I’m a Blitzburgh fan. Rod Woodson used to play off “a lot.” I wasn’t a fan but for different reasons than others likely think. It certainly wasn’t because Dick LeBeau was lacking in aggressiveness.

  5. Looking at Texas vs Georgia baseball, do both regular season and tournaments count - and only by being #1? Same for softball, can we add buffer vs Georgia jyst by finishing higher in standings or do we need a regular season or tourney championship?
  6. I love learning about this history of the program. I’ve done my fair share of studying over the years, but that’s a process that never stops. My Mount Rushmore of Texas defensive coordinators would be Campbell, Fuller, Muschamp and I’d flip a coin between David McWilliams and Greg Robinson for the fourth spot.
  7. Eh, we’ve all got our gimmicks and quirks. I’ll see what I can do though.
  8. I love ball. One thing I love about Muschamp is that when he talks ball in a press conference setting, he won’t dumb it down for anybody.
  9. You won’t find a bigger Muschamp fan than me. I would expect the front end of the defense and the back end to be tied together much better compared to last season. Way too many coverage busts and times where the pressure and the coverage didn’t mix, particularly late in the season.
  10. And they are very strict on this. Chances are they split the team into 2 or 3 groups. You will get a random group and that’s who will sign your stuff. I would be shocked if they do the entire team for everyone.
  11. Can't resist. Kobe and Duncan stats when they met each other in the playoffs 6 different times in just a 10 season span. Kobe is the only player that has a winning playoff record vs Duncan.
  12. Man, this is getting tough. Are we limited to just one Mount Rushmore? Earl and Vince (and probably Nobis) are definites for me, but then I think about Layne, Street, Ricky, etc. and my head starts to hurt, but in a good way.
  13. The regular season tennis championship does count for SEC All Sport Trophy. Texas moved into the lead.
  14. Yep, directors cup and all sec trophy but will likely lose lone Star showdown. A&M winning sports that both teams are bad at - w soccer, M&W cross country - give points for lone star showdown but don’t impact directors cup that much. The teams split volleyball matchups but A&M won the regular season which is the one that counts for lone star showdown. Both had good directors cup points in volleyball.
  15. Yes, conference level results do not impact the directors cup. Only NCAA championship competition.
  16. Different era. In 1969 he threw three TDs and 10 INTs.
  17. Thx for posting @THookem- I notice none of our former players that portalled out made that list, while the two we signed are highly ranked.
  18. Sucks for him. Damn good player
  19. Based on the current standings, those standings could change a lot. There are a lot of schools with similar records.
