  1. Past hour
  2. The season is a wash at this point. Sark knows he doesn't have it to win out. Collins could wait out the rest of the season and bolt to the NFL and get paid.
  3. I thought Sark only signs kids who can make all the throws. Right now our deep ball % is not very good. Layups and free throws are higher percentages than half court shots
  4. Texas is going to be like Zona last year IMO May lead nation in FT attempts ... put a lot of fouls on ooponents
  5. Hopefully just the sprain. If he shuts it down that’s totally fine , the best defensive player I’ve seen at Texas. Get paid
  6. Difference is one coach has exceeded expectations and the other has not.
  7. Best to play our best players, always. That should be rule 1. When in doubt, see rule 1. Our best players right now are not always seeing the field and have limited snaps. I like Arch, and it's been novel for me, I watched his grandpa play with a broken arm in the Gator bowl - no I don't really want to say what year that is. AM is more like his grandpa than his uncles. But I've seen a lot of bs in my time, and I've seen us take a monster-dump in the middle of the bed more times than I care to recall. You can't reserve a position for any player and pretend you're having a real competition. And coaches that aren't willing to look in the mirror don't help matters. Imho, we're easing into a downhill slide and I'm not sure I'll be around to see us climb out of another one.
  8. Ankle sprains can be tapped up and ready to go the next week. Is there really any benefit in him doing that?
  9. I’m just NBA pilled, but I’d like more attempts from 3. That’s two scrimmages in a row. I get there are different ways to win games though.
  10. I’m mad as hell at sark but you can’t blame the staff for this. It’s football, injuries happen and you want your best player on the field as much as you can
  11. Freakin Bear Bachmaier is better than arch
  12. Yes Kiper still has him at the end of the 1st round which is insane. Just think about how hard he would struggle in the NFL given the struggles here.
  13. *Ahem* KJ Lacey
  14. What gifts does he have? We have had strong arm quarterbacks before. We have had quarterbacks that can run. Arch is not accurate, he can’t see the field or handle a blitz. Quite certain the NFL is seeing that.
  15. I'm not gonna act like a QB switch is the answer with Sark. We need new coaching on offense. But absolutely KJ deserves a chance. Put him out there and let's at least see what we have.
  16. Quinn with more athleticism is the perfect prototype for this offense. All we need is someone who keeps us on schedule and isn’t a statue like Quinn was.
  17. I’ve been thinking about this and sadly true. Whoever the next coach is will likely bring their QB with them. I feel bad for KJ but at least the 5 for 5 rules gives him 3 more seasons elsewhere
  18. Today
  19. Finally something we can cheer for and a legitimate contender. This football and volleyball season have been killing me with the deficiencies. Basketball season (men and women) can't come fast enough. Can't wait to see the team on TV.
  20. Gerry if KJ gets an opportunity what should we expect ? He seems like a kid that will get the ball out quickly right ?
  21. From the limited time I've seen Lacey play and what people say about him, he's accurate and he makes quick decisions (good or bad). That's already a big upgrade from Arch right now. On top of that, he's more adept at midrange and short throws vs the deep throw (opposite of Arch), which most of Sark's office lives in that space.
  22. You’re right. My bad. To throw, not 1 pass beyond the line of scrimmage - illegal forward pass - but, to then throw 2 passes in the next game which is something that does not occur at the high school level let alone at college…as a 4th year player by the way. WOW. Throws into double coverage constantly - how many pics - but, misses the wide open receiver over and over. Throws 2 pics while having the lead (OU) and then fumbles in the pocket (UF) with 3 time outs and struggles game in and game out, but other than that you’re right. As to the back seats. Nah! I did it from the front row on the field and whose son did it from the front row there afterwards. I would encourage you to move up from the cheap seats and to focus. Focus is important and to focus on details Little Carmine. A Critical thinking skill set is vital is in this scenario and conversation; especially to success in the long run. HOOK’em!!!! Let’s raise the bar and go win a Nattie!
