Victor Wembanyama is a total freak thread
Gerry Hamilton replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Haha. Love it. Who knows on that ... Rockets aren't winning it this year unless they trade for a PG ... VanVleet injury was crushing If Wemby stays healthy with the young nucleus being built around him... he'll likely get 1-2. He's like nothing I've ever seen before, but that body isn't built for longevity either. -

I think he is a unicorn. I’ve never seen a player like him at all especially when you factor in his ability to hit 3s -

Freeman is a defensive coach. He’s a Defensive back guy. He also recruits the state of Texas so he’s not unfamiliar with the area -

I’ll admit Im not too knowledgeable on basketball, so this guy is basically an uber athletic Yao Ming? Jesus he’s insane. - Today

We are now witnessing a 7’4” guard skills player that has to be defended by bigs (really skilled NBA bigs to be clear), and is the best rim protector in the world on the other end. What he did last night to Anthony Davis and Derek Lively was pure basketball insanity.

I'd go with a name and number combo that connects to something personal or just looks cool regardless of player loyalty. I’ve got a Jacob Murphy Newcastle 2025/2026 away jersey by adidas on pre-order just because the color scheme matches my sneakers and I liked how the font looks—nothing deep. Sometimes it's all about how it feels when you wear it, not who’s on the back.

It’s actually enjoyable to be a Texas Longhorn fan .

The beginning of the end of Sark

Lots of dudes on the short bus here. The sky may not be falling but that roof over their head ain’t that high. -
we are 5-2 one our losses was to Ohio State .The #1 team in the country . We lost by 7 points. 14-7 . The sky isn’t falling. All this hype improves ratings & brings in more subscribers. It also distracts our coaches & players. They hear the noise. Hurts or recruiting. Nothing positive comes out of negativity. College Football is a great sport. Let’s enjoy it .

The beginning of the end of Sark
Chinadoll10 replied to PrisonMike's topic in On Texas Football Forum
My problem with this logic is Texas, as a program, should be beyond that. Texas should never be rebuilding, not in this day and age, and that is in fact on Sark. Ultimately he makes a lot of money, and he needs to justify through performance the earning of that money. -
Please explain how Sark is supposed to go on the field and make routine passes for Arch. Arch is clearly having confidence issues. If he gets those fixed, I’m sure this offense looks immensely different and all the cryers calling for Sark’s head would be doing the opposite and wanting to anoint him and build a statue in front of DKR. We have to let Arch figure out what’s going on in his head. We don’t have a choice. If he can’t figure it out this season, I’m guessing things will be changing drastically in the offseason. People were calling for Mack too during the Simms/Applewhite years and then we ended up with a natty and 2 seasons that arguably could’ve ended that way barring 2 miraculous plays. Not an Aaron Rodgers fan but I will quote him here. R-E-L-A-X…

Sark is loved by the University administration and by the big money donors if this yr ends at 8-4/7-5 and next yr is another disappointment then I believe he will be on the hot seat in 27. However I believe in the guy. I think he gets us fixed and back to 10 or 11 wins next yr and good chance at CFP. If not 27 will be a must win yr for him imho

So glad we are not in the Big XII anymore - I truly appreciate that the SEC calls out bad officiating & does something about it.

i thought it would be “Texas scared of losing in their upcoming trip Starkville” -
the other thing people don’t often realize is that Florida also has the academic excellent pitch that UT does. It’s constantly ranked the number one or close to the number one public university in the US. Ironically, I even lived there with my family for three months last year and it’s actually a very lovely town, especially if you have kids.
