You cannot argue we are not sloppy when we are one of the most penalized programs in each of the years of Sark's tenure here. Also, that same sloppiness has prevented us from going further when if we were well coached and disciplined, we'd probably be back-to-back national champions.

I don’t think it’s the penalties that kept us from going and being back-to-back champions.  You could make a strong argument that losing running backs in 23-24 had more of an impact on the team than anything.
Regardless, just because we are “sloppy” does not mean Sark is keeping assisting coaches because they are friends.   You are making assumptions that you really can’t prove at all.

I haven't really seen anyone that jumps out at me as of yet that we "need" to take, I'm sure as CJ said, the end of the month will see an uptick in guys intending to enter the portal.

Texas is going after proven production for that position.

If baxter, wisner, both leave.  We will need more bodies in that room.  Get a proven player and add him as well. Let the best man win

Wisner is more likely to stay now that the disaster that was Scott is gone.

He, Wisner, and Cooper would all offer very complementary skillsets. That would be a damn good three-headed monster, with Simon and Clark being wild cards with upside.
