Moderators CJ Vogel Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Posted 1 hour ago I have seen some of the reports regarding RB Tre Wisner and his status for 2026 and wanted to offer my latest: Conversations are still being had behind the scenes, avenues are still being explored and final decision has yet to be made. That is of 7:00 p.m. Thursday night. I am told that anything being reported as a definite is incorrect at the moment. While I lean towards Wisner returning to Texas, there remain some necessary conversations to be had. 16 2 Quote
Jbro52 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I hope for his return, get healthy he can have a great impact with another back along with being a leader in the rb room Edited 1 hour ago by Jbro52 1 Quote
Bobbers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I would not see Tre go the way of Lefau if he demands too much money. I hope he wants to stay and play here, but if Baugh wants in and Cooper shows up early, Tre is going to have to settle for a more modest payday I bet. (I could be totally wrong, but this seems correct to me.) Quote
Josh Kuebler Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Can you elaborate and it doesn't have to be fully but when you say conversations needing to be had just a brief outline of what that means since nil is still pretty new and I'm just curious if you don't mind. Quote

NIL conversations, what’s the best course of action with his family, everything else in between 4 Quote
Casey67 Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago Wisner would be such a solid complimentary weapon to a bruising inside runner. I can see, after a bruising back has softened up a defense, Wisner being a nightmare in the later parts of games vs. a tired defense. He's so solid in the outside run game, with ball security, with being assignment sound. Although he doesn't have the size of a closer.........he'd be a helluva closer. He's just so solid. I hope he stays. He's our rival killer. Quote
AusMOJO Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago If he goes to the NFL, what do we expect Texas to do? Because apparently Simon and Clark are up in the air, too. Do they go for a big playmaker at RB, like Baugh or whoever they're after and try to grab another guy for a 1a/1b type of thing, like Ohio State had in '24? Quote
_everyoneshere Posted 8 minutes ago Posted 8 minutes ago 😂 This just got suggested in my TL feed. Who runs this?? Can't comment cause I don't follow it Quote
