Both instrumental in defeating UG down the road, and critical information PK could never provide. 🎯🎯🎯 Quote

Georgia completely figured out Flood’s blocking schemes too, so I suspect it also is intended to revamp Texas’s o line philosophy (assuming Flood is retained). 1 Quote
Hesity Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I can’t take the PK slander. We are 34-8 the last three years. Over that span, the D has been more impressive than the O. We can be excited for Muschamp, while recognizing PK did a great job. 8 Quote

Excited to see what Muschamp brings to the table…this is a bold move. Love the fearlessness and cant wait to learn what other moves Sark has up his sleeve. 3 Quote

People are just noting he had some flaws and have differences of opinion on whether he is good, great, or elite. And the concerns aren't new, nor are they different than fans have about a lot of really good defensive coordinators. All of the flaws being discussed are the same ones that people have complained about after every loss (or win that was too close). At the end of the day, I think Sark just wanted to be more aggressive. PK is great, but I think he probably suffers with a little bit of Mack Brown's too scared to lose syndrome. And Sark has decided that to get over the hump (especially in the SEC), he needs someone more aggressive. 2 Quote

TXFF Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sark said in his presser that hiring WM will give him more time to focus on the offense. That suggests he's had to supervise the defense under PK more than he will now. That will improve the offense. 1 Quote

Muschamp also a great recruiter (I know nil biggest factor but need someone to get your foot in the door/be a good evaluator). Really liking this move more and more. 1 Quote
Oldest Horn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago When I think about what got us in the natty games in 2005 and 2009 it was the seismic changes in DC in 2004 and 2008. 1 Quote
