Herring is expected at South Carolina on Thursday.

Texas is monitoring the portal for multiple prospects currently. No names, but this should be an interesting 36 hours to see who jumps in and who doesn't.

UPDATE: The calculus with Seaton has clearly changed with the signing of Melvin Saina.

While I can't say Texas is completely out of it, the thought process has changed. Saina and Goosby are both tackles. Seaton is a tackle.

I can not sit here and tell you with 100-percent certainty that Texas is out of it with Seaton, as some are reporting. But I can tell you the calculus has absolutely changed.
