How about Aaron Benson? Granted he wasn’t a Longhorn Legend but he was gunned down along with a woman and her child. Pretty awful.

Where did you find that out?  I only found 2 places that mentioned he had passed, but no details were provided.  Very tragic if true.

Did a further search and found someone named Aaron Benson shot in Detroit several years ago (2022) along with a woman and her child.  No clue whether that is the UT Aaron but it seems that news would have surfaced here quite a long time ago.

"Jordan update January 12th: 
They didn’t do as much with Jordan this morning as was initially planned. Thursday they’ll take a good look at everything. He’s had a better day today. The last few have been pretty tough, but there’s nothing new to report.. so that is a praise! Thank yall for your continued prayers and support."
