Row8Seat39 Posted yesterday at 09:02 PM Posted yesterday at 09:02 PM Guys, everyone just needs to calm down a bit. We are all forgetting that we signed a kicker, punter, and long snapper. We are just fine; we are gonna just 2 phase the SEC with Special Teams and Defense. I am "All In" on that idea! 1 2 Quote

Like I said, most of these people aren’t built for this. They’d complain if we snatched a bunch of second-tier G5 players who could play for Texas in a heartbeat instead of swinging for the fences. But when Texas swings for the fences in extremely competitive recruitments, they still complain. Part of the problem here is expectation setting. When fans hear that Texas is going “all in” and then they bring in a bunch of top-shelf players and the fans hear repeatedly that Texas feels “good about their chances,” fans overinflated their expectations. Most people aren’t wired to handle disappointment, when reality deviates from their expectations. But part of the blame almost certainly lies with the Texas insiders, who either horribly misread the intentions of the agents they were negotiations with or horribly overstepped by projecting too much confidence. I still think they can end this portal window with a much better roster than this time last year, but they have a lot of work to do and a very small margin for error. 1 Quote

I mean they got a coach who is in the complete opposite end of the spectrum and a lot of those guys committed to Harbaugh anyways so I don't think it's that much of a stretch. 1 Quote

antcan95 Posted yesterday at 09:04 PM Posted yesterday at 09:04 PM What’s hilarious is no one has ever been critical of Brandon Harris even though he has been mostly average and for the past year terrible at his job 1 Quote
