@Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton I know it probably wouldn't work with Coleman and his agent and some of the other high profile transfers, but do you ever hear of Texas (or other schools) offering deals with a deadline? i.e. This is a generous offer and it expires in 24 hours or we move on type of deal

I don't know how well it would work in these transfer negotiations but it does seem like a small way for the school to get some leverage back and not sit on their hands for 48-72 hours waiting on decisions and shift some of the pressure to the players on making faster decisions. I keep wondering if those generous offers might have pushed Woods or the UM OLs to make a quicker decision and maybe sign with Texas without waiting to have a sit down with the incumbent school.
