Then I don’t see the need for his circle to reach out if that was the case in the first place. Thanks for the update Bobby, love your work. Just seems like a lot of these players/agents are using Texas for extra leverage.

I wish we would look at Emeka Ugorji. Freshman started some games for Stanford from SOC, played both right tackle and guard. He’s got a Florida Visit.

So where do we pivot now on the OL @Bobby Burton? I know on the livestream you said they could have it wrapped up by Friday but I guess I don’t see who we are after. Is there a chance this weekends CFP losers have guys?

I wasn’t really a fan of the Wisconsin OL. I can say that now that he picked another school. He just isn’t what Texas needs (a big difference maker on OL)

At this point we need to accept the position we are in and over pay for an OL - get numerous to enter, take the one who commits - this whole Player A enters, 2-3 days later Player A commits somewhere else thing is wasting our portal window

I believe on coffee and football this morning someone said texas expects to have their offensive line signed by the end of this week. Is that still the expectation?

@Bobby Burton@Gerry HamiltonOTF is doing a good job at covering but Texas did this to themselves. 
 

When you invite 3 OL, one not being a take, you have zero leverage. Player has all the pull!  Invite top 10 OL on board and let them know you aren’t pissing around waiting.  If they want on the boat they better jump.  Thats how you get the leverage!  
 

Invite top 4 RBs and do the same.  Texas strategy was to piss around with 2 players that didn’t even enter.  Now they are up against it.  
 

They let Coleman hold them hostage at WR.  Coleman isn’t coming!  Why not invite the top 5 WRs on your board? Nope!  Missed out on all of those too!  
 

This has to be the worst “all in” portal strategy I’ve seen.  
 

I also realize not all players will come to Texas.  Thats no excuse for this staff.  They limited their options early, not a surprise at the outcome.

We’re on the borderline of having to raid Bishop Syncamore’s roster for OL, never would’ve imagined this. Maybe Flood isn’t the fit at OL coach for today’s college football, back to back years of portal negligence
