Trotting out Stroh was an egregious error for half a season. Making the change last second preseason was to say the least odd. The inability to run the ball against good teams exclusive of ou has been egregious for years. Sark makes the decisions. I believe this is a large error. Time will tell. Keeping him has changed my long term outlook on Sark. I desperately want to be wrong. 5 Quote

Seems like this is a tough issue. You can get experience in the portal like Indiana and Tech OR maybe talent in the portal like Marad Watson or Zion BUT Getting experienced, talent from big boy programs seems very hit or miss. Whatever strategy we employ going forward probably can’t lean on picking off good Big10 or SEC starters. We will have to count on filling our needs with developmental guys like Zion or UTSA/G5/Big12 callups. So why let a Barnes leave then??? I don’t know. 2 Quote

d_red39 Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM It could be worse OTF. You could have agreed to take a pay cut the help the company but instead of using that money to upgrade the computers and the break room, they used it on vacation and strippers for the CEO. Oh, and someone pooped in your work chair. life is rough for Arch right now 😂 Quote

TimLamaster Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM If someone is going to take 700k less money to stay at an inferior school then I guess there is not much you can do about that. It sucks but it is what it is I guess. 1 Quote

BuddyPalChiefBigGuy Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Sprague staying makes sense from a macro view. If he was happy with Michigan than the only reason he entered the portal was the Moore firing (the coach that recruited and coached him). If he was satisfied with Whittingham then why move your life 20 hours south for a pay increase when you're planning on entering the draft in a year. Still disappointing to miss on him but it destroys the narrative that Texas is penny pinching or that players are just using Texas to get pay bumps. 3 Quote
