Texas is trying to get Hollywood Smothers - NC State Wolfpack - Running Back to take a visit this weekend and it is possible that he will per sources near his recruitment.

Definitely not a good sign. We will see how it plays out. Alabama is aware of the potential visit.

Running back was a luxury add in the portal, but UA wanted to add Smothers, and he was focused on Alabama out of the gate. He was as interested in UA, as UA was in him, we were told. So, him committing to Alabama happened fast but he did not sign. He was not expected to take visits but has communicated with Bama on Texas. He seemed locked in.

But it is the portal finances can change the game. Bama invested heavily in Ezavier Crowell - Jackson - Running Back, and they have high hopes for him. So, they were willing to take another, but it had to make sense.

The portal is about as wild as wide open as many expected. So hard to pin anything down right now. There is a lot of deception and everyone across the nation is dealing with it.

We get the disappointment associated with this news. This would sting. My best advice is get to the portal closure, see who has signed and then judge what you think your team will look like.

We will keep you posted as we learn more.

To be in such need for guys at LB and then miss out on Uluave would be crazy. He had a no contact tag and came here 1st... I'm not seeing what the issue is. Can't be playing time... and ATK 💸 is already a done deal, I would think. TyTy can't be upset about getting some reinforcements. You obviously aren't telling him no because you have Johnathan Cunningham in the tuck. Like.. seriously.. what's stopping it from getting done? Nansen and Sark are west coast guys... what's the holdup. If we don't get a boom by Saturday morning.. somethings definitely smelly... 

Biles will almost become a must at that point... right?

We haven't taken any yet... and they wouldn't have waited until now to do it. QB is different and Sark hasn't shown a history of getting those types at QB. Malik and Trey both weren't going to elevate the team.. they both needed to step down and play at a lower level.

Call me crazy all yall want, as much as we have joked about “All In” I believe Texas is all in on Coleman. And I feel really good about our chances of landing him. I’m sure he understand he will make millions this year no matter where he goes. However if he goes somewhere (like Texas) he will be a top 15 pick and make 50+ million. So I do feel good about it. But I’m not an insider this is just what I believe. And I feel like we will know by Sunday going into Monday his decision.
