The games started yesterday. If she thinks she's going to get Tech money, she's in for a rude awakening. This is laughable and why I say that's she's no where near the face of softball. She's in it for herself, talented yes, but not trying to grow the game. Most of the players in the league probably only make $45k ish and they're the best of the best. It's a similar situation to Caitlin Clark making only $76k as a rookie when her NIL and endorsement deals were in the millions. The smarter move would be to play and get endorsement deals. I can actually see her going back to tech. More money and rules be damned. Watch them blow up another sport. Quote

HookemTexas Posted Wednesday at 06:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:01 PM This is absolutely hilarious and awesome. I think the only one I know off the top of my head is Reese’s celebration. 1 Quote

HonkEm Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Was thinking about this yesterday....Could it be that White is waiting to see what happens with Singleton at Cal? Honestly, it lines up. Cal does their postseason evaluations in late May through June, and if they’re going to make a move on Singleton, it’ll happen before July 1 when most contracts roll over. That’s the exact window we’re in right now. And remember - Singleton loved working for White, and White trusted him more than just about any assistant he’s had. If Singleton suddenly becomes available, he jumps straight to the top of Texas’ board as a hitting coach. That’s not speculation, that’s just how the relationships and timing work in this sport. So the silence from Texas right now might not be “nothing happening.” It might be White keeping the lane open until Cal finishes their review. If Cal keeps Singleton, Texas moves on. If Cal lets him go, he becomes the most logical fit on the market. Either way, we should know a whole lot more by July 1 - Has anyone else thought about this? Far‑fetched, or actually pretty reasonable? 1 Quote
