Layton_Sharp Posted February 25 Posted February 25 UCLA takes their first loss of the season. LSU has 3 outs to avoid the same fate. 1 Quote
NoDakHornsFan Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Does anyone know who’s televising game this weekend? Quote
TrouperG Posted February 25 Posted February 25 And LSU lost at home to McNeese. Tuesday night games are weird y'all. 5 Quote

.45s Posted February 25 Posted February 25 We were there and Cozart looked pretty good and gave up no runs, but he did not look quite as sharp as his last outing. Overall, the pitching was good. Robbins' dinger was basically against the wind to the opposite field and still cleared by a lot. Tinney's dinger was a monster shot over the green monster in center. He absolutely crushed it. Reminded of some of the Melendez homers. I expected more from UTRGV. 5 Quote
marathon Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Pack drove this 3 run double to the opposite field. 3 Quote

That film clip says it all when you hear somebody in the background repeating "Oh my God" as it sails way over the green monster. It was a sight to see. I was surprised that the center fielder even took a few steps toward the fence. 🤣🤘 3 Quote
HookemChappy Posted February 25 Posted February 25 It's going to be hard for Jonah to take over for Pack. Pack is killing it. 2 Quote

wizardofcroz Posted February 25 Posted February 25 If they win out this weekend, is it safe to assume they'll be ranked #1 next week? 1 Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted February 25 Author Moderators Posted February 25 I will say it’s such a luxury for Texas to have an arm like Cozart in the Tuesday role. Allows for situational practices with arms out of the pen without strain on who will see time on weekends 3 Quote

Best man plays. If Jonah hits > .300 again and Pack keeps playing like this, then put one in LF or at DH. Quote
BurntOrangeDriller Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Speaking of Left. Ashton Larson had come out of almost every game, we were there last night and I thought I saw him head down the tunnel to the clubhouse after Monsour went in for him. Anyone have any insight on this or was I imagining things? also, Aiden Robbins is just a flat out ball player. 2 Quote

Larson's fielding is perfect (1.000%, 8 putouts, 0 errors), but substitutions often see him exit for Duplantier, who has a reputation for elite range and arm strength. Substitutions involving Pack Jr. are less common and not late-inning defensive substitution. Larson DHing? Quote

.45s Posted February 25 Posted February 25 One thing that reminds me of last year in this game is strikeouts. We struck out 11 times in only 6 innings. Fortunately, that is the only double digit game this year. 2 Quote
