You've got Volantis on the hill, trying to win a series and the opponent has used a lot of arms through two games. This is EXACTLY why he's in the Sunday spot.

That's why I like you so much Jeff, you know ball and have way more tact than I do when dealing with the Negative Nancies. But hey, this is going to make for great discussion during the football doldrums.

I’m trying to find highlights from the game. Anyone have a link on any?

Find Wheels on YouTube. He does a great job condensing key plays. Probably up tonight.

Yeah, usually takes about an hour.  I always watch his channel because w/ 2 young chirrens, I rarely get an uninterrupted 3 hours to watch a ballgame.

It’s a long way to the CWS and I feel pretty confident this team is gonna be able to make the postseason.  Schloss giving the team the opportunity to grow up on the road against a top 5 team is more important than any single win.

Unless the wheels come off, our biggest challenge comes in the super regional.

Using these last two weeks as an example, if we close on Friday, we’ve won the series before Sunday.  And another possibility is lose in 2 with us never seeing Volantis.

There is a decision to make, but guys do need to be given opportunities to work thru things.  Volantis needs to consistently go 7 as a starter for that to be worthwhile.

The early season schedule was not ideal for building the bullpen.  There weren’t many challenges and too many run rules.

Only been following Texas Baseball since 1995, but this is a really good team that's going to get better with every series.

You've got me beat by a good 10 years, but I've been watching long enough to whole-heartedly agree.  This team has everything it needs to make a run and if it gets hot at the right time they can win it all.  That's about the best thing you can say for a team in any given year.

At some point, you've got to let guys either sink or swim. They have to learn how to manage high-pressure situations because that's what it'll be the rest of the way.

Agree.

It wasn’t pretty but Burns has closer type stuff. Hopefully he can build on this.
