The one thing that could shift Sales Texas OV date is if he qualifies for the Indiana state track meet

That is June 6

Any type of decision date set for him or is this going to play out until december?

This post somehow sparked my memory of TexAgs reporting that Mario Craver commented on Cam Coleman’s Instagram as a reason for confidence on the aggie side back in the portal days🤣🤣

I would think that 10.81 would qualify you for most states not named Texas.

Who is gonna guard bishop, sales, royal?  If kohen brown keeps developing and you still have the potential of wingo and/or moseley returning next year.  Wr room could be scary good

Per a Texas fan that has recruiting eyes ... Sales just experienced Terry Black's for the first time lol

He’s still staying through tomorrow?

We'll see.  But at this point we can dream about a WR class of Sales, Royal, and Thrower.  IMO Thrower doesn't get the acclaim he should at this point.  But he's big, fast, and gets inside position and that's what makes him dangerous.

Ohio State not a favorite I was told by a long time source in the midwest

It's Indiana trying to keep him from heading south for college - Bama.

Texas will have a legit shot here IMO

wish I was heading south this morning😂IMG_5738.thumb.jpeg.ae76389d73bd48e01c871ae78be895f0.jpeg

Bishop, Royal, and Sales, dangerous speed👀

Can’t cover this trio.  And I don’t make bold statements like that routinely.  Too much stress over the top, and opens up the underneath crossing routes as well.  Like 2019 LSU, or Sarks NC bama.

Everyone in the entire fan base should be hoping they go to the draft, this is how you build your program up even more. Kids are gonna see Texas have 4-5 first round picks next year and realize Texas is truly back. If they come back that probably means they didn’t have a good year. Plus I’m a dog person don’t disrespect me lol

While Hartline was a fantastic recruiter, Ohio State recruited and developed NFL level WRs prior to his stint.  The school recruits itself imo.  I’m sure @LovingBuckeye can attest to this.

I’m interested to see if the recent success of IU’s football program and WR development under Curt Cignetti and Mike Shanahan (along with a boost in NIL) is enough to keep him in state.

Texas is also a different team this season, with an ELITE WR corp. It doesn't mean Ohio State can beat Texas three straight years, but Ohio State's coaching staff is better this season without Hartline than it was last season with Hartline.

That is because there is no more experimenting with Hartline as offensive coordinator. Now we have a legit NFL OC running the offense.

Again, that doesn't mean we will beat Texas, but in the long run Ohio State is in a better position (coaching wise) this season than they were last season.

That’s cope. Arthur Smith is the opposite of what y’all’s team wants. He is run heavy, always has been when y’all’s strength is QB and WRs specifically.

"Arthur Smith is the opposite of what y'all's team wants"

Obviously this isn't true or Ryan Day would not have hired him.

It is also not cope, I have watched every single snap of Ohio State football since 1998. Hartline is the best WR recruiter in the history of the sport, Hartline is one of the best WR coaches in the history of the sport. Brian Hartline was an inexperienced offensive coordinator who struggled with play calling.

If you want to say that Ohio State's WR recruiting will dip in the future, that might be true. If you want to say Ohio State's WR's won't be as well coached in the future, that might be true.

Ohio State's offensive identity and play calling will be much better under Arthur Smith.
