  1. To answer your question, yes Sark is obsessed with Tech to distract attention away from losing to 4-8 Florida and soon be to 0-3 against Ohio State.
  2. Are you dodging my question about Sark’s obsession with Texas Tech?
  3. Did a question come up regarding Texas Tech? Who every metric had as vastly superior to 4-8 Florida last season.
  4. I don’t know, did the interviewer bring up Texas Tech or did Sark bring up Texas Tech unprovoked?
  5. Does this mean Sark is obsessed with Tech?
  6. I definitely wish we had the same winning percentage as Texas against Michigan. Who wouldn’t want to be 120-0 against their rivals lol
  7. I don’t know how you define “embarrass”, but Texas is favored, and favored for a reason. There’s a good chance Texas wins. I would be shocked if either team embarrasses the other though.
  8. And Ohio State’s second and third stringers would beat Texas. Just worry about beating the shitty teams on your schedule
  9. I’m fully expecting to enjoy it as much as every other time we’ve met up since Sark has been coach and Arch has been on the roster 😉
  10. I am in the small minority of Ohio State fans that don’t mind Big Noon. Like I said, I prefer big games all through the day.
  11. I try to take my Buckeye fandom out of it, and put the sport front and center. I think it is best for the sport to have massive games all day long, beginning with the noon time slot. If the B1G didn’t prioritize the noon time slot, we would have to wait till 3:30 most Saturday’s until we got the first big game of the day.
  12. I have found that the sweet spot is Thursday night-Friday night before the game. That’s just one man’s anecdotal evidence though.
  13. I will say, I had buddies who did this for the Notre Dame @ Ohio State game in 2023. I was amazed when there were no tickets to be found. There were no listings on TM/SH anything from about 3pm on...game was at 7:30
  14. If you are located anywhere near Austin, I would join Texas ticket exchange groups on Facebook. Buy off of there, but meet up in person to make the exchange.
  15. I already have my AirBNB booked, I'm coming with or without tickets. My plan right now is that I have a couple season ticket holders put in for the lottery through Ohio State for me. Tickets would be face value ($280 a ticket). If neither of those are selected in the lottery (I think I should be fine), then my plan is monitor the prices and by the day before the game on TickPick.
  16. I’m in the minority, but I don’t mind Big Noon. Due to what I’m sure is going to be a very hot day in Austin, I am also relieved the SEC doesn’t have Big Noon
  17. Ha, I don’t know what any of this means but I’m excited to find out!
  18. I don’t know if this is popular with the locals (or if it’s just popular with out of towners) but we went to Terry Black’s BBQ I think it was. That was amazing! As of now, we plan on going to The Comedy Mothership for a show on Friday night, followed by dinner and drinks next door at Iron Cactus
  19. I would love to. Thank you for the heads up! My wife and I have been to Austin before, and loved it. We went to Barton Springs Pool, saw the bats come out from under the bridge, etc. if there’s any other must sees let me know!
  20. I’ll be there, me and 10 thousand of my rowdy friends! Go Bucks! I love the Austin campus and atmosphere, can’t wait!
  21. Yeah, I agree that he needs to play better in big games. Having a second off season being coached by Ryan Day and a legit NFL level OC leads me to believe he'll do just that. There isn't a returning QB in the country that I would put ahead of Julian Sayin though.
  22. I appreciate the respectful banter. Please let me try to address each of your points 1. Ohio State had the #5 transfer portal class per 247Sports. They actually had a higher per transfer average than the #1 team LSU (88.24 TO 88.08) Here is our top incoming transfers (per 247sports) 1. James Smith - DT, Alabama (4*, .9600) 2. Hunter Welcing - TE, Northwestern (4*, .9300) 3. Qua Russaw - Edge, Alabama (4*, .9300) 4. Earl Little Jr - S, Florida State (4*, .9300 5. Trey Moore - S, Duke (4*, .9000) 6. Dominick Kelly - CB, Georgia (4*, .8900) 7. Christian Alliegro - LB, Wisconsin (3*, .8800) 2. "Sayin shouldn't have been a Heisman contender" - Well he was and was one of the most accurate QBs in the history of the sport, including beating Texas in his first ever start 3. As far as cornerbacks go, Ohio State should be even better with another year of Jermaine Matthews Jr, and former 5* recruit (from Texas) Devin Sanchez. Ohio State returns one starting safety in Jaylen McClain, but obviously lost all world Caleb Downs. Matt Patricia is hoping they addressed that as well as he possibly can through the portal with Earl Little Jr & Trey Moore.
  23. It's just my opinion, but here are my reasons Offensively - Ohio State returns their Heisman finalist QB. For the first time in four years Ryan Day gets a second year with a QB - Ohio State returns their top two running backs (both were true freshman last season) - Ohio State returns 4/5 starting offensive lineman - Ohio State returns their #1 & #3 wide receivers, which include the best WR in the country - Ohio State is deep at TE - Ohio State has a massive upgrade at offensive coordinator Defensively - This is year 2 in Matt Patricia's scheme - Ohio State's LB room is probably the best unit on the entire team - Ohio State returns their #2 & #3 CB's from last season, and one of their starting safeties - Based on Ohio State (& Larry Johnson's history) the losses on the defensive line don't worry me. They added a lot of talent from the portal - Historically, Ohio State always has a top tier defense Special teams - Ohio State has a special teams coach for the first time in several years, before this, it was just Ryan Day trying to coach special teams - Ohio State added an all conference kicker in the portal. Kicker has been a weak spot for the Buckeyes for what seems like a decade now
  24. IU is very much in the conversation for best team in the country. They probably have the #1 WR corp, which pains me to say as a Buckeye, and possibly the top coaching staff in the country. Hoover is going to crush it in Bloomington
