horns96 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Ugh. Wingo looks like he's wrestling the ball on some of those. I sometimes wonder if he was still adjusting to his eye surgery. 3 Quote
thatdude2 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I can see why most of those guys are in the transfer portal or went to the draft. Quote

Well, I'm sure they're counterbalanced by people like you who want to pretend Manning wasn't at fault for anything. I'm sure an Arch Manning lowlights montage from the first half of the season would look just as bad as this video does. Edited 8 hours ago by FforFake Quote

AusMOJO Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Arch had his rough spots, but as we can see he had some failings around him, too. Not just from the WR's. On the OL and with the running game. Quote

I sometimes wonder if he was still adjusting to his eye surgery. He’s just not a natural. The MSU drop he leaves his feet for no reason. Think it was SJSU in which he had his hands set as though it was a low ball when it wasn’t. There were several low balls that he could and probably should have left his feet but didn’t. I recall a deep ball to Georgia that he didn’t get his hands on but when you watch it you wonder why. It could be his eyes adjusting, but it seems more than that. The pace of some of his routes making himself available occasionally seems off. I use the comparison of the UTEP game versus the OU for an example that encompasses all this. 4th and 4 versus UTEP, opening drive. Arch flushes to his left. Rather than sitting in the open window proceeds to run away from him. Incomplete. Similar occurrence versus OU. Wingo sits. Complete, first down. Quote
