The SEC is loaded.  We have to protect home court and snatch a few from the away games. I predict huge crowds this year. Time to open the upper deck.

Not dragging Coach Miller, but the non conference home slate is dogshit. There won't be enough momentum with home crowds until the conference season rolls around for anyone to be discussing opening up the upper deck.

Also, Florida is January 2, before students get back on campus. Which is a real shame. I'm sure it will be sold out, but it won't be ideal without the students.

The SEC race is going to be very interesting… there will be 2-3 really good teams that will go 11-7 in league play

I don't get this Florida is great talk. No team goes far in the tournament without high level guard play. Not only are the Florida guards not high level, but they are also objectively mediocre to bad. Haugh is not some great player. He's a wing that can't shoot consistently and can't defend his position. They can rebound and play good paint defense. They can pressure bad guards into turnovers. That doesn't win titles.

I don’t disagree on Gators guards … especially if B. Fland doesn’t shoot it better . Aberdeen helps the cause

But they need their front court to dominate every nite against high-major competition

Todd Golden will coach it up offensively for 87-88 per game average … think that is what counting on. But those tournament games that are played in 70’s and come down to last 3 mins will be interesting again

Golden is obviously an outstanding coach. It's roster construction that's a problem. Unless Golden can hit threes and defend athletic wings, there's another postseason meltdown coming that these media guys simply refuse to acknowledge. This isn't likely to be a big problem except for a few regular season games and the tournament.

SMU closed door scrimmage at 11

How good are they this year?  I thought for sure they’d fire Andy Enfield after the end of last season.  He seems like a mess personally too
