Baseball: Texas slides in national polls after dropping road series to Tennessee

We'll start with D1Baseball.com, which dropped the Longhorns from No. 4 to No. 6 after the road series loss in Knoxville:

I guess that was to be expected.  We are still in a good position though.

He'll be in the DH role for a bit. He can swing, but he can't throw. The concern is that this is a recurring issue for him, going back to high school.

Hopefully they weigh RPI as heavily for baseball as they did for softball.

RPI falls short.  Midweek games weighted similarly to conference games?  To take that a step further, we are weighting games similarly for starting pitchers that will likely never start in the postseason except for an extended regional session.  Bullpen guys that may never pitch in the postseason except season.

A loss by 1 run is treated the same being run ruled.
