What we thinking with this MMA event on Netflix? How do yall think it goes, especially Gina and Rhonda?

A pretty decent UFC Fight Night on Paramount as well.

I think Rousey wins prob by submission, although she looked like she was limping at weigh ins. Hoping for Carano though! 🤞I always root for Diaz and I’m going Ngannou by ko but I’m honestly not too familiar with Lins.

Just my opinion but the production quality of UFC is just so much better. 

It’s not that Netflix is awful… it’s just…. Not UFC.

I’ll always respect Rhonda and what she’s done for women’s fighting and I def think she’ll win. I just always loved Gina back in the day and remember her huge fight v Cyborg on my bday many years ago. This card is making me feel old! Lol

I think if she (RR) fought in today’s world… she wouldn’t be near successful. She had a run when the talent level was nowhere near the same as it is now. 

She definitely helped promote and progress the sport…. But in today’s UFC she’d be lucky to have anywhere near half the amount of success. 

That’s my .02…. Regardless she’s always been a favorite of mine.

The first two past their prime fights haven't been that great.  Hoping the RR vs. Carano fight is a good one.  Same with Nate Diaz.

Yeah so far I haven’t been impressed. Out of their prime fighters fighting (rather slow I might add)… it just seems more amateur hour than anything. Give me UFC early prelims over this  

Jake Paul acts like he’s reinventing the wheel “it’s awesome to give these guys a platform”.

The last two UFC numbered events vs this… absolute no comparison. Granted, those have been two of the best in a long time…. But still. 

I’ll watch it because I’m a fan of the sport…. But man I’d be mad if I had to pay for this.

They aren't evenly matched, massive weight disparities and reach disparities.  The announcers trying to hype these fights as if it was GSP vs. the prodigy in their heyday is also annoying.

The last time Gina Carano fought… Colt McCoy was gearing up to take on Louisiana-Monroe in the season opener of his senior season.

The more I think about this, the more I think about her fight with Nunes.
