Congrats man. I’ve never met any of the guys, but they all seem genuinely nice. Bobby seems to always take time to go the extra mile. I hope to meet him week one when I go to the game. Exactly! Tech keeps saying this is a new world blah blah blah. No it’s not. The only thing new is they are the first ones to get a judge to overturn 100 years of precedent when it comes to gambling.

The “everything runs through Lubbock” jibber jabber won’t work. Tech knows full well he will need a professional publicist to walk him through any future encounters with media. He is under a microscope and he probably won’t answer questions from media until the entire team gets on the same page (publicity wise) after the crap storm they started.

This is the question all of us should be asking. I asked on C&F this morning but the chat was crazy because of the news. Besides gambling, now the rev share agreement”rules” do not apply. Players can claim “damage” if they don’t get the package they want. Teams can pay well above the 20m range now. I suggest UT consider this before they lose their recruits to Tech. Schools now know they can get a judge to get them out of anything.
