Clark has more 30 and 10 assist games than the rest of the WNBA ... ever if the story is correct.

On Friday, Clark stacked another one on top of that one you referenced.  34 and 12 against the Sun.  She's gone 30+ and 10+ six times in her career, five times this season.

And, yes that story was correct.  Only four other players have done that in the history of the league, none of them more than once.  The last time it was done by anyone other than Caitlin Clark was a few years ago when Sabrina Ionescu did it.

Yeah if anything Angel Reese is Ben Wallace to Clark being Steve Nash. 

Reese has value but isn't on Clarks level in my opinion.

Clark is unstoppable.  She could average 40 a game if she felt like it, but she's the point guard so she distributes the ball. For a superstar, she handles her fame with humility and class. The criticism she gets is unfair. Every player in the W complains about fouls,  flops, takes wild shots.

Reese is a monster under the boards.  Her game has improved so much since her rookie year. She's in the perfect spot. Her coach believes in her, supports her, and he has changed her to be a much better player and teammate. Both girls are bad mamasitas.

Nice discussion above, but I’ll be real with y’all -  I’m not watching another game if the league decides it’s going to let men play in women’s basketball. That’s the line for me. I’ve put up with the officiating circus, the inconsistency, the relocations, the weird scheduling, the shoe‑gate nonsense… all of it. But if the league crosses that boundary, I’m done.

Women’s basketball is finally getting the respect, the viewership, the momentum, and the talent pipeline it deserves. The players built that. The fans built that. And I’m not sticking around to watch the league throw it away.

If they go down that road, I’ll spend my time and money elsewhere. Simple as that.

Where did this narrative come from? There is no avenue for a trans man or cisan to join the WNBA.em can declare for the W just like women can declare for the NBA, that does not guarantee or grant them the opportunity to play in either league. That's why they're separate. If we're being honest about the whole thing more often than not it's women who transitioned who wants to play against the men. About ten years ago, do you remember the trans wrestler who petitioned to wrestle the boy Texas told her no, your a woman and you have to wrestle women. What happened next was she destroyed all those girls to the point they didn't even want to step on the mat with her and I think she went something like 64-0. I understand your concern, but for me it's a none issue because it's not happening. There are no Juwamna Mans in the WNBA.

The Commissioner resigned. She's retiring. Hopefully,  they can find someone really good and keep growing the League.

I hear you, but that’s not really the point I’m making. I’m not claiming there’s a 6’8” dude warming up for the W tomorrow. I’m saying the moment the league opens the door - even a crack - I’m out. Full stop.

And let’s be honest: the “this can’t happen” argument isn’t airtight. The NCAA just spent the last year tied in knots over eligibility definitions, injunctions, appeals, and what counts as “professional participation.” Every governing body in women’s sports is getting dragged into the same debates. Acting like the WNBA is magically insulated from all of that forever is wishful thinking.

The wrestler example actually proves my point more than yours - once a governing body makes a classification decision, everyone downstream has to live with the consequences. If the W ever decides to reinterpret eligibility, even slightly, fans don’t get a vote. We just get the product.

And for me, that’s the line. Women’s basketball has finally built real momentum - viewership, investment, stars, storylines. I’m not sticking around to watch the league gamble that away. If they ever decide to let men compete in the women’s league, I’m done. Simple as that.

I have to admit, the WWE antics made me take notice, and I like the memes.  A few years ago I would have said I would never watch a WNBA game, but after the green toys flying on the court, and Sophie Cunningham memes, I realized this is the kind of ridiculous drama that has some entertainment value.  
Apparently my Youtube algorithm figured this out and started offering me AI shorts with Sophie Cunningham and Caitlyn Clark “sexied” up.   The reaction videos to the drama on Youtube are also pretty deranged.  
I don’t know if I will ever go to a game, but the sh!t talk level among WNBA players is almost to the same level of a college football fan—well maybe not to the level of aggy—but pretty intense.  
 

Having said that, I don’t care how much they score, I just like the drama.

One of the best parts of the W (and I have been a fan since its inception) has been the talent level now. The college game is so good that when the girls enter the League, the best make an impact immediately.  Paige Bueckers and Olivia Miles are the type I am referring to.

Imagine next year, Booker, Hidalgo, and Juju won't miss a beat. The drama is real. These women are competitive and want to win. They are cutthroat. Add the Euros, Latinas, Asians and man what a wild league. It's so much fun to watch. Finally, the money, facilities, fans have boomed, therefore there is so much more at stake. This year's playoffs will be intense. Can't wait.
