Dread-headed Texan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This year's NBA draft class is the best since... I'll go first 96. I love that all four of the top four picks believe they should have went number 1. The Clippers are going to regret going Wagler over Acuff, they both are allergic to defense, but at least Acuff can create separation and get his shot off. Wagler... meh so far, not so much. Quote

I'm biased being a Duke fan and all, but I think Maliq Brown will have the best tenure as a Spur. There's nothing flashy about him, but he can guard the three and four and most small ball centers. There wasn't going to be much the Spurs was going to get out of this draft other than role players and depth. So it may not look like it on paper but they had a pretty good draft all things considered. They can groom what they have while the pups already on the roster grow into dawgs Quote

EHoff99 Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Still think you have to go 2003 over this. LeBron, Carmelo, Bosh, and Wade all in the top 5? 2 Quote

Then at the end of the game he has 20/10 and you never even notice. Being fundamentally sound and consistent is going to go a long way. Quote

His effort was really really poor a lot of the time. He’s not gonna be able to coast like that in the league. Quote
All Gas No Brakes Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago After my deep dive and evaluation of all draft picks this year, I believe these are the 4 best picks made by any team in the draft. They are Jayden Quaintance, Tarris Reed Jr., Ja'Kobi Gillespie, and Maliq Brown. Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 13 minutes ago Moderators Posted 13 minutes ago Two drafts that don’t get talked about enough are the ones 1987 and 2009. Four Hall of Fame players (David Robinson, Reggie Miller, Scottie Pippen and Šarūnas Marčiulionis) in the ‘87 draft. If not for injury and tragedy, Kevin Johnson and Reggie Lewis might’ve joined them. Steph Curry ended up being the prize of the ‘09 draft, but you’ve also got James Harden, Blake Griffin (he’ll be in the Hall of Fame even though his body didn’t allow him to sustain a peak like Steph and Harden had) and Demar Derozan, who will have Hall of Fame numbers when he’s done. Yao and Sengun are the only 2 all stars they’ve drafted since 2003 despite multiple lottery picks. Don’t really get trading up for Thornton as they already have enough undersized guards Quote
