Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 16 minutes ago Moderators Posted 16 minutes ago One day until kickoff and we’ve finally made it to No. 1, which gave us one of the rare countdown lists where two current Longhorns have already done enough to make the cut. Xavier Worthy finished his Texas career with 197 receptions, 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns. He was a two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection, the 2021 Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and helped Texas win the 2023 Big 12 Championship before becoming a first-round NFL Draft pick. Mike Davis caught 200 passes for 2,753 yards and 18 touchdowns during his four years at Texas. He earned All-Big 12 honors twice and finished his career ranked fourth in school history in both receptions and receiving yards. Donnie Little passed for 2,067 yards, rushed for 1,334 and added another 338 as a receiver. He went 15-5 as a starting quarterback and played quarterback, receiver and returner during his time at Texas. Colin Simmons is only entering his third season and already has 91 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks. He was the 2024 National Freshman of the Year, earned second-team All-America and first-team All-SEC honors in 2025 and already owns the Texas record for most sacks through a player’s first two seasons. Ryan Wingo has also made the list before his Texas career is finished. Through two seasons, Wingo has 83 receptions for 1,306 yards and nine touchdowns and earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2025. It’s pretty rare for one current player to make one of these countdown lists. No. 1 has two of them, and both still have plenty of time to climb even higher. Who y’all taking? One. Day. Away. 🤘 1 Quote
