Moderators CJ Vogel Posted September 24 Moderators Posted September 24 The Texas running back was actively participating in practice Thursday morning, On Texas Football was told. Keep in mind, Texas was not in full pads today. But Smothers did participate in practice. We will see what the injury report says Thursday evening, but overall a positive for the Longhorns’ lead back. 41 1 1 Quote
Ace Recruiter Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Sark is pulling a Lane Kiffen on the injury report Quote
Atxdubstep Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I feel like sark will make him a game-time decision, and we will see brown and Cooper the first drive. 1 Quote
chennups Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Just now, Cajunhorn said: Is Simon still in witness protection? He had a carry in the UTSA game. Terry seems to be running RB4 and Simon is RB5. Quote
cvfd3557 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I am loving the RB depth but having Hollywood at 100% is crucial for SEC play - especially road games. Quote
hookem1014 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I think we’ll see a good amount of Cooper even with Smothers playing. I like what he brought to the table vs UTSA on that final drive. Brown should be used similar to how Blue was against Jim Knowles in the CFP Quote
watty7796 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 So long as Texas RBs finish runs with authority Im good with it. If it limits him to just making people miss Id do my best to really limit his snaps. To early in the season to get anyone seriously banged up and have to hobble through the rest. Quote
