You’re not wrong, I’m just seeing too much inconsistency on our end to justify being number 1.

And I’m saying the reason for the inconsistency is that we’re among the few relevant teams in the country who have been challenged twice in 4 games. 
 

Let’s look at Ohio State and Tennessee’s consistency so far, for example.

Consistency through 3 of 4 games, then there is a glaringly inconsistent “L” when they played Texas 😂
