Thanks for the heads up. I doubt I would have listened to the Missouri SEC media day otherwise. Not in a bad way, either. Dude said his piece without rancor. Basically said as long as he's punching above the NIL weight of his program, which he indicated doesn't even compare to his SEC cohorts, he's doing a good job. That Mark Mitchell eligibility case is as important as any of these in determining a program's ceiling. With him back they're a different monster entirely. They can be good without him, but they're young and not as physical on defense as they need to be. He's the true post presence that they won't really have otherwise. Quote

I did get a good laugh about his NIL comment Has 2 5-star freshmen and ripped Bryson Tiller (NBA draft pick) from Kansas. With ripping Mark Mitchell back from Kentucky … he’s over 10-11 mill on 4 players alone Quote

He just opened up his arms and said, "How can I help you?" and they came to Missouri. You don't have to recruit, Gerry, when you can be your authentic self and show people you care about them. That's what he said and I 100% believe that. I remember talking to a guy about rizzing and I told him I don't play games, and he said, "That's the oldest game there is." 2 Quote
