Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 55 minutes ago Moderators Posted 55 minutes ago I believe it will be closer to 50-50 first team reps than thought/reported. 12 Quote
camridleyfan Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago Given that Thamel was a the mouthpiece for Ewers and his team, is he the same for the manning camp? Quote

kirktex Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago Sark should start Lacey if he looks better with those reps. I hate him having to bring him in once all momentum is with the other team. 1 2 Quote
LonghornLegends Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago Honestly if they’re splitting reps and it’s even close you have to put in KJ. Arch should be light years ahead of KJ and if he is not he needs to play. 1 Quote
TTown Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago Well whoever it is good luck. Being reported Simmons out 3-4 weeks high ankle sprain. And Smothers reinjured again. Still just give KJ all the reps and let him get after it. Again believe when I see it. Gerry is spot on again as usual👍 1 Quote

Red Five Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago It is entirely possible that Lacey can run Sark's garbage system better than Arch can. I'd rather address that other problem, but that's more of an offseason thing. Quote

I will get excited when it's 100% Lacy. It sucks for Arch because he does everything right but he is just not very good. Maybe it eventually clicks for him bit right now he is bad... 2 Quote
4thandFive Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago I worry about the “Arch practiced well” keeping KJ on the bench. 1 Quote
akhookem Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago Sark realizes he’s gotta choose between his job or Arch Manning. We’ll see if he’s willing to sink with the Manning ship or not. 8-4 or worse should be fireable with this roster. Quote
William Gillean Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago if the running game is going to completely disappear after the "script" then maybe Lacey is the best fit. winning games the rest of the season is one decision and Lacey maaayyyybe helps with that which is fine. nobody is above the program. however, the offseason discussion is something else. two failed offensive offseasons have to be answered for I think. and again, nobody is above the program in the offseason either. Regardless of how much blame you put on Arch vs Sark, when you struggle like this you need to play another QB just to hope for a spark. The issue is, Manning being benched leaves Sark vulnerable to even more criticism of his beloved scheme. And I think he’s terrified of that. 1 Quote

NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 20 minutes ago Posted 20 minutes ago I will believe it when i see it but it feels like it is weeks too late. Quote
TXFF Posted 16 minutes ago Posted 16 minutes ago The root cause of the offensive struggles is the OL, not the QB. The offense does fine, both running and passing, when the OL isn't overmatched. Replacing the QB doesn't fix the running game. Unfortunately, there's probably no quick fix for the OL and putting Lacey in is just desperation. Quote
John F. Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Gerry any word on other positions? I won’t name any specially but hopefully they’ll guard against one center of attention. Quote
