How is it we fired PK (who wasn't terrible in his own right) so Sark could focus on the O and this is the product we get? He apparently upgraded the talent and yet it's worse across the board. Sounds like Sark isn't as great as he thinks he is or what...who knows. Anyone expecting changes is going to be seriously disappointed. He truly believes his scheme is great and that it should be run how he wants it. Even when he does things that work, he goes straight back to what doesn't. It's the most baffling stuff you'll ever see. There is no fix for this during the season and there will be no fix for it in the off season. If Sark won't recognize it himself then it's never going to matter who points it out because he dismisses it all the time. Plus he's said numerous times he won't give it up and that's why he was brought to Texas. And because of this, the program will be stuck in limbo until Sark gets canned or leaves on his own for the NFL. But he will win enough games to give the fanbase hope. Dallas Cowboys syndrome. If Sark were a real one, he would tear the entire offensive operation down and rebuild it from scratch by hiring a “HC of the Offense” and allowing that guy to select his own offensive staff. Quote

I might've felt better if Sark had hammered the quick game and the screen game more often because both were working. Jeff, do you think that Sark could go to say a majority of 10 personnel sets and would that improve the offense? Quote

In theory, yes, but you’ve got five problems: 1. How long will Texas be without Wingo and Coleman? 2. The offensive line couldn’t pass protect collectively with Goosby and it’s worse without him. 3. Arch’s clock is off and there are only so many hits he can absorb before something bad happens. 4. You won’t win on the road against quality competition in the SEC without something resembling a competent running game. 5. The offense has issues that won’t get fixed this season. The only solutions are the kinds of changes that are made in the offseason. 1 Quote
