I also just did that.  The most interesting thing were the close-ups on Quinn's eyes as he came to the line and before the snap. You could see he was constantly analyzing the evaluating the defense and what play was called and what he should do with it.  It was like a supercomputer quarterback's uniform.

Criminal interlopers better stop sniffing the Mateer methane. Didn't perform above average against a single credible team. All we heard last year this time was Arnold has a big arm. Doesn't matter they cheated their way to every title ever claimed. Doesn't matter a single high school district in Texas produces more D1 talent than the whole criminal state. It's QBU. Bunch of fake Heisman trophies and statues down criminal lane. The Kremlin is loaded with statues.

I wouldn't say they cheated, but the did play to what the voters like - video game stats.  They had offensive gurus and defense be damned, they'll just stack offensive talent and score.  To their credit, it worked, however those offensive minds are gone and so is the offensive scheme that produced it.

Can Mateer be good?  Sure, but I'm in the opinion that he will be average.  That's the thing with opinions, it's like arseholes, everyone's got one.  Last year couple of years the criminals had been talking about how Jackson Arnold was better than Arch and would win the Heisman.  Talk changed real quick a couple of games in.

Switzer and Wilkinson cheated like crazy, as confirmed by following investigations.

God I love rewatching Red River. 🤣 announcer in the second quarter when the offense finally started moving the ball, "Texas has a pretty elite offense on 3rd and long, but again this is oklahoma."

I agree. When you really think about it, the whole thing is kinda sad. Especially from the HC. Their entire schtick is about another team.

Listening to Bobby and Gerry praise Castiglione makes me wonder why I went to Texas. Criminals never won a title without cheating, and they know it. Wilkinson and Switzer made Mao look like an angel. Who cares what criminals do while they are cheating their ass off?

Read that Nagy has taken advanced game scouting away from Venables. Looks like Venables can't plan a team meal without Nagy's permission. Hard to see how the criminal sooner administration thinks they're going to be able to hire a competent coach to replace Venables with Nagy basically running everything.

I know BV isn't enjoying being micromanage like this. It also tells me the OU administration don't trust him.

It's bizarre. Venables is just a glorified DC. He doesn't have veto power over offensive game plan or decisions. Wilson is in charge of clock and "game" management. Nagy is really the head coach. Wouldn't be surprised if Nagy is in the box with a headset on and we just don't know it.

To be fair (I know), the cheating from Bud and Switzwer preceeded Castiglione.  I thought he was very good for them, and consequently I'm really glad he is out of the picture now.  They look like a total cluster now.
