harveycmd Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 I was expecting some irrational exuberance from the Soonerscoop boys after their game, but there really wasn't. They pretty much admitted that Auburn is the only team in the SEC that will literally just give you the ball and then fold their tent. Differently stated, the criminals avoided disaster for the week, but there weren't any signs for hope that the major problems are close to solved. 2 Quote

Yea a win is a win & that’s a big win for them considering how dead they looked but that is not a top 25 team right now. 1 Quote
harveycmd Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Just watched some of the latest Soonerscoop podcast, and, although they didn't get carried Saturday, they did get carried away today. "That win makes anything possible." Of course, they also admitted Auburn lost the game more than the criminals won it. The best throw Hawkins made was a five yard slant. Without multiple Longhorn turnovers and some non-offensive scores, it's hard to see how the criminals stay in the game. 2 Quote

I’m not going to take anything away from their defense, it is very good & they are clearly well coached. But they can get beat in the passing game. When Tennessee opened it up & Nico had time to pass, then they were moving the ball. The key will be pass pro & for Quinn to protect the ball. If we do those two things well, this shouldn’t be anything less than a 14 point win. 1 Quote

Them & Auburn look like the two worst teams in the league right now & it’s not particularly close. At least Miss St is putting up a fight in their games. 1 Quote

Colin Simmons, Trey Moore, and Ant Hill gonna have a field day in Dallas in seven months 😂 Bro threw a decent ball in practice and all of sudden he's Baker 2.0 lol. Maybe it was how he ran downfield? Baker was a great player, even going back to his days at LT. His hatred for Texas has always been weird, considering that OU didn't want him coming out of HS either or whatever his actual issue is (assume it extends beyond him transferring to OU after being at Tech). Flaker Mayfold was only offered as a DB by Texas. I did like him in High School though because all he did was win. 1 Quote
harveycmd Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I watched soonerscoop goobers claim Jim Nagy is better at building a roster than Kirby Smart. Meth flows forever. 1 6 Quote
harveycmd Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) Criminals still getting on my nerves worse than Aggie nutjobs. Still complaining about "schedule" vis-a-vis Texas. Let's see. Texas plays at Ohio State and at Georgia. That's two of the top three teams in the nation on the road. The other top three team is Texas itself. No one else has anything close. Georgia is better than Bama. Vandy is better than Auburn. Florida will be better than Tennessee. A&M is better than the criminals themselves. Drinkwitz is a blabbering idiot (Missouri). Beamer is a bantam show rooster (South Carolina). Kiffin is a petulant child (Ole Miss). Kelly is a blowhard (LSU). If the criminals can't beat those goobers, it's on them, not the "schedule." Furthermore, no way they get Dillingham after this season with Nagy in control of the "roster." Edited March 16 by harveycmd 2 Quote
