Don't want to overreact but Ewers has got to be better period. No more excuses, guys are running free. Back to no pocket awareness and some of those sacks are on him.

Got to do better or run the ball. We are letting them hang around and have seen this before. Damn shame. Defense is awesome but they will be tested this half. Ewers apologists I feel ya , but he ain't it today!

Arkansas three high is causing issues, much like what we saw vs. TCU and Iowa State in previous years.

So how do you counteract that? Seems like quick and screen passes. What I’m constantly getting frustrated with is he won’t take the easy 3-4 yards to just step up in the pocket and move the sticks.

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but this is no Iowa State 3 high.  This is a bye week installed 3 high that we ought to be able to figure out how to exploit.

From week two vs. Oklahoma State. Condensed version of their cover three on a third and five. It has been around.

It’s execution not play calling

It’s both. These are not good play calls. Most of Sarks routes are taking too long to develop too far downfield. There is no quick hitting slants are even a crossing route to get the safeties having to come downhill.

The inside run game has been our most  consistent play. Sark gets too cute sometimes. He can’t stand it if his plays don’t look genius on paper.

Well he is. Arkansas is tackling very well today.
