A&M O vs Texas D

Recommended Posts

The Texas D has obviously been outstanding all season long and frankly materially better than the vaunted A&M D.  Despite not having a plethora of high end skill position talent the A&M O has been able to score well in SEC play.  How do y’all see the Texas D matching up versus the A&M offense?

Very similar to Arkansas:

A&M may have a slightly better run game due to offensive line, but Arkansas's rb room is better right now because of injuries.

Taylon Green turns the ball over more than Marcel Reed

Arkansas has better WRs

Reed is the best QB we'll see this year. Great runner, makes very quick decisions, and has an accurate arm. DB's can't be as loose as they got at times against lesser QB's. We've seen guys running free but the QB couldn't hit the throw.

Their WR's are huge, too, so we have to be physically ready to handle jump ball throws.

That said, I do expect the DB's to get a turnover at some point, too. The pass rush will get home, but has to stay disciplined or Reed will kill us scrambling. It will be the toughest game for our Defense this year IMO.
