MarkInAustin
The depth of the defense at all three levels is stunning. I will be interested in their snap counts. The entire offensive line is very good and may have finally overcome the previous tendency for costly drive killing penalties. I assume that Wingo now knows the entire play book and can take the majority of snaps that would have been allocated to a fully healthy Bond. Considering the number of 12 and 21 sets Texas runs, it would not be an imperative to rely on Bond, in any event. I am assuming that Texas will have to run the ball effectively again next week. If Tre's stud iron man effort has left him understandably depleted I can only hope that Georgia's 8 OTs against Tech has collectively taken more out of the Dogs. I think the two third quarter turnovers were more a product of high level defensive play than not. One came on a tipped pass and the other came on a hammer of a strip from behind. These were not self inflicted in the sense of a lame duck pass or a ball held like a loaf of bread in one hand by a RB about to get hit by a ton of bricks. There will only be high level defenses against Texas during the Second Season.

Why should we think he'll change now when we keep hearing how much he loves Norman? That alone tells you what you need to know. After last night, I'm sure I'd rather go from Goosby to Turntine. JMarquette
One guy who needs credit is Trevor Goosby. Gerry has said you can’t replace all Americans, but man, he did not miss a beat. He kicked first round talent’s butt on the LOS - he deserves massive love

To come in off the bench in a massive rivalry game, in a very hostile environment ,and dominate was magnificent.

chennups
My players of the game other than Goosby and Wisner (obviously) were Golden on offense and Vernon broughton/michael Taaffe on defense. golden made big play after big play and had a good Kickoff return to start the second half. Broughton was so disruptive that herbstreit must have said his name like 10 times. Taafe made a huge int and a few good hits on the qb and never really got beat on the scrambles. Plus his interview about Jake Ellinger (and Sam) brought a tear to my eye. Very mature and his pocket square with Jake E’s #48 in the pregame walk spoke volumes of how much this game meant to him and the rest of the team.

Can't quite hear what Mukuba was saying but not a great look for him after a dominating win and that beautiful smackdown hit he made. Buuut I mean, Texas did stomp on the entire field all game 🤘🏽
murray
Texas did a lot of good things on Saturday night but the thing with the most class was Sark walking out on the field and moving our players off of the ATM logo. Longhorn class at its best , thanks coach !
