I just don't trust that offensive line to match up against the Texas D-Line, and vice versa. They don't have a QB like Klubnik either, so I don't expect a close game. This feels about right. I watched them against KSU and was NOT impressed. KSU threw up all over themselves and turned it over in their own territory on the first 2-3 possessions, allowing ASU to go up 21-0 in the first. But then KSU outscored them 14-3 the rest of the way. Leavitt is a nice player and he can scramble a bit, but he makes freshman mistakes and is not even close to Klubnik. The ASU o-line is awful. KSU was in the backfield constantly and held Skattebo to 2.9 YPC. KSU also ran on them at will. ASU is not as good as A&M. In fact, A&M would probably beat them by 10. As long as we don’t beat ourselves, this game isn’t close. 2 Quote

WE need to win this year and then get 2 more wins in the Sugar Bowl so we can not only be the only team to have won each bowl, but have a winning record in them all. 1 Quote

James Wang Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Skattebo's contact balance is exceptional. I don't see a lot of solo tackles (few ankle tackles). The idea of stopping him with light box seems risky. He has a lot more wiggle than Alstott. Quote

Can you show me a comparable team he’s played against that has the caliber of athletes and size we’ll put on the field? Oh, By the way, We’ve got a top three ranked defense in the nation. Quote
