Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted January 30 Moderators Posted January 30 The Texas Longhorns have offered what I believe may be the No. 1 ranked RB in the 2026 class. Derrek Cooper, 6-0 and 195’ish, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna 26 Quote

Cooper is my No. 1 i bet he runs 10.5’s at 205 this spring … has very good hands, really good zone back, physical, plays 75-80 snaps per game so he’s rarely just a fresh legs RB on Friday nights 9 Quote

What would be your ideal pair taking into account RB’s already on the team? Quote
TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 @Gerry HamiltonWould they take a three RB class per chance? With the injuries to Baxter/Clark and the other backs not being as proven (except for Wisner) maybe a good time as any to do that. Maybe a 5 star, a high 4 star and a low 4 star or 3 star to round out that position class? Quote

Luckily we're not in a position we need 3 but even if we did it's unlikely 3 elite backs like those Choice is targeting would want to be in the same class with each other. Quote

Well if Choice is not going after a portal back then if you took three RB's on 2026, which looks like a pretty deep class, you could take your normal two backs and then take a lower ranked one for development.
