So many of you have been supportive since Colt’s football accident in November, along with the complications in December, and have asked non stop on how he’s doing.

Today we reached a milestone. I posted this in the Alumni game baseball thread but wanted to put it here so everyone that’s been asking could see.

He took the field for the first time since the accident and played the entire game. He started at catcher and remained there the majority of the game, then finished out at shortstop.

It’s absolutely insane to me that in less than three months we went from ICU and not knowing if he’d even make it (there for awhile it was looking grim) to now playing baseball and doing what he loves.

Thank you all for your support, thoughts and prayers, and everything in between  it means the world to my family and I.  Krista and I both can’t thank you all enough.

Now if anyone wants to help me tell my wife that he’s decided to play football again… that would really be appreciated.  😂

God bless him.

That first pic brings back memories from my stroke 3 years ago.  The doctors said I was going to die (I was motionless so they didn't realize that I could hear them).

But God intervened and said, "not so fast my friends."

I proved and now Colt has proved that you CAN survive even while practically shaking hands with the Grim Reaper.

Good, luck, Colt!  God is on your side!
