harveycmd Posted February 7 Posted February 7 NBA media and fans are by far the dumbest set of both on the planet.

Your leader sets the tone. Barkley won zero titles for the same reason. Lazy stars kill franchises. This narrative doesn't really make sense to me. He just got done making it to the finals, follows by the Olympics. 1

What are we talking about? Furthermore, I don't give a damn what a media outlet says. 1
harveycmd Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I'm thinking Luka will probably pack in 15k-20K calories during the Super Bowl while Mavs fans think about what they're missing. 1

They were not going to win anything with him there. This whole thing is like being P'ed off when the pretty girl doesn't go home with you......... sadly she doesn't even know your name. 1

TarrantCoHorn Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Luka is debuting tonight. AD is out for multiple weeks.
harveycmd Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) In case you guys haven't noticed, Lakers can't win a game with fat boy Luka. Edited February 21 by harveycmd 1

The guy is twenty-five years old and you haven't been able to convince him to straighten up. At what point do you think he is likely to adopt the proper mentality of a professional athlete? The obvious answer is probably never. There might be a one in five chance that he works it out. Those aren't good odds. Agree with you about Luka... perhaps the Mavs could have gotten more for him, but IDK. I grew up in DFW and used to go to Mavericks games with my late father at Reunion Arena. As a young adult I worked for a company with HQ in Dallas and I got to use the Company's season tickets on occasion back in the days of Mark Aguirre and Roy Tarpley and James Donaldson. I hoped the Mavs would improve with the Adelsons in majority ownership but so far ... not so much. I'm just not a fan of Mark Cuban and Adam Silver's woke policies have cooled my interest in the NBA.
harveycmd Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I've mentioned this before, but Mavs fat boy lovers need to check reality. Here's Kobe killing Iverson in 2008. Iverson wouldn't work. Same as fat boy. Iverson wasn't fat. Luka is. Iverson didn't want to practice and wouldn't work hard. This is the difference between working and not. Fat boys need not apply.

harveycmd Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Greatest moment in Mavs history is when Kobe outscored them 62 to 61 in three quarter 20 December 2005.
CQuast Posted April 10 Posted April 10 That was beyond painful… Nico treated his job as if he was a Fantasy Football GM where there are no real repercussions instead of taking his job serious enough to know that a whole fanbase relies on his decision making. I will never understand why ruining basketball for the forseeable future for all Mavs fans was ever a topic of discussion.
Traves Posted April 10 Posted April 10 My favorite pastime is reading the comments under the Mavs tweets last night. None of the messaging makes any sense. 1
